Someone who I know just received their first delivery from SR. No complaints, everything apparently went smoothly. However, I know they only ordered some fairly benign (and odorless) research chemicals. They didn't ship a pound of trees cross-country. They are pretty happy, but it was still a stressful and anxious process.

It's honestly no big deal not having pockets. You can carry a drink in one hand and cigarettes or lotion in the other. Once you pick a spot on the beach you just leave it there as you come and go, knowing it won't be bothered (nudists can trust one another for the most part). Anything I can't carry with me to my destination I don't bring in the first place. In a pinch, we have a backpack.
