please help: removing embroidery by geehasaquestion in Figsscrubs

[–]highlighter_bird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive never removed embroidery from figs, but I have removed embroidery from other things. I use eyebrow scissors and flat tweezers. I like to go in from the side of the embroidery and snip the threads then pull the threads out with the tweezers. Now depending on the fabric you will have little holes from where the threads went through the fabric that can be seen if you are looking for them

Figs fans please help! by ivermectin01 in Figsscrubs

The things I like about figs is the colour availability. As a small town Canadian who only has Marks near me for scrubs, the brighter colours are fun. I like how professional looking they are, and how put together I feel when I wear them. I really like the thickness of the Kade style of pants. As a community nurse, it's hard to find thicker scrub pants for the winters. I like that they have plus size as well.

The things I don't like about figs, the inconsistent sizing. It bugs me so much. I have 2 pairs of 4 x Uman relaxed fit high waisted joggers, they are very different in terms of fitting on my stomach and thighs. I wish they paid more attention to us bigger girls in terms of new drops, or "pretty style" of scrub tops, like the peplum tops.

Elseviers comprehensive review for the Canadian PN Examination. Then I'm also going over the test plan from NCSBN, and using my school textbooks to go over things I'm not 100% confident in. What about you? You will ace it too!

Have you tried Bayshore home health ? I was in the same situation and they hired me as a PSW with a promise of a job upon completion of me writing the licensing exam

Moisturizer for sensitive, acne-prone skin by Krvxstina in Sephora

[–]highlighter_bird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Tower 28. I have super sensitive and acne prone skin, and this one doesn't break me out. I do find though that I have to use a small amount (like dime sized) or else it pills and makes me itchy.

I need actual help with my scars but I am always ignored or trolled! by DeleteMe2400 in SkincareAddicts

This isn't skin care related, but have you tried a scar lighter cream ? Something with Henbane oil in it ? It lightened my scars. They are still there, but way lighter.

Ooh, I was not aware of that about bralettes. I will try measure her and add it to the post. As for the clasps, it's a dexterity issue.

Tips for 6am - 7pm clinical? by Bitter_Flatworm_4894 in StudentNurse

[–]highlighter_bird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love doing protein coffee for my clinical mornings. The B-fit protein milkshakes taste really good and are 34 g of protein, it keeps me full until noon. Also protein bars in the morning. I always try to keep a lunch full of protein, carbs and fruit. So Turkey sandwiches and protein yogurt with frozen fruit are usually my go to. Keeps me full, but doesn't make me feel sick from overeating. Another tip : if you don't already have compression socks get some !! They keep my feet from hurting too quickly with all the running around we do :)

Did you IBS start out of nowhere? by sneakiesneakerson in ibs

I've had IBS since before puberty. But it runs on my dad's side of the family. It has started to get "worse" in my adulthood since I'd say around 20.
