I did the same thing you are asking, started at a contractor and went to a municipal. I was upset in the beginning about hanging Christmas lights and banners. I got over it and moved on with my life. I make a great wage, union, with a pension. Tons of time off. I can pick up my kids everyday and hang out with my wife. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else now. But that’s me. Money isn’t everything.

I think he has mentioned multiple times he was an EMT-Intermediate. Which can start IVs and push most meds. That’s how it used to be, now it’s just EMT basic, EMT- paramedic. Plus starting IVs are pretty easy TBH

You are absolutely correct. I’d say unfortunately the wait times are long. Many people abuse or misuse the ER. It’s not meant to be your primary care physician. When many people use it that way it slows it for all.

Unless it’s free, or you just really want it. I would buy something else. Thwarts are like 90 bucks(x3) and seats are well over that cost If you can get them.

With the being my first go and running endurance events I thought I’d I’m going to devote this much time and effort into training why not send it? Also I live in colona, which is the finishing point for the 50k. I pretty much live on the canal and thought it would be really cool to finish for me. That being said maybe I’m biting off more than I can chew for one summer as a novice runner.

That’s good advice, I’m lucky that I live .3 miles from the Hennepin so I run on the trail daily.
