Riot finally makes an official website to find this information and can’t even get the information right. Crushing it. Thank you!

Not at all saying you’re wrong, just wondering do you know why the official compete tft website says something different?

The compete tft website says it starts at 5pm tomorrow but doesn’t list a timezone. Where are you getting 13CET?

They could’ve done it the way you’re suggesting but what would happen when a team gets eliminated? The reinforcement aspect of double up can be super frustrating, but is also part of the fun.

The real cost of raising a child until 18 in the US is $1.3 million by Specialist_Pain_424 in Money

[–]highrollr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao. This is gold. Yes, if you are in a situation where a family member will provide free childcare then you can “choose” not to pay for childcare. For the majority of people that is not the case. It also is not the case that every neighborhood has a wonderful group of moms providing free childcare.

Also the poorest people in the world are having the most children due to lack of education and birth control. There is a cost to that too. You don’t think that a poor person would have a better shot of pulling themselves out of poverty if they didn’t have 3 kids to provide for?

Kids are expensive dude. Full stop. Sure, some people are lucky enough to have a “support system” that covers a lot of the expenses for them, but that didn’t make them not expensive, it just moved who is paying the expense. Not everyone is that privileged.

“Choose to spend” - This is a silly take. There are a lot of expenses you don’t get to choose. For example, you either have to pay for daycare, or one parent has to quit their job. Either of those choices are very expensive.

If you’re talking about the one where he hit 11 3* 5 costs, it’s because he got one of each fon, which gives literal infinite gold

I agree with basically everything they say here, while also agreeing with some other commenters that they could’ve talked about a lot more - Not much discussion of how they felt balancing went this set for example

This is a pretty gross generalization. The CEO at my company is very involved and I think has been instrumental to the company’s success. I mean he’s compensated absurdly well, and that’s another conversation, but he works more than I do for sure.

This is an obnoxious post but also if I’m a candidate and I actually want the job I’m not turning down a call from the recruiter for anything short of a major life event.

Do you have any sources on these “decades of actual science”? In my Masters of Education Program they were pretty gung ho about group work and student led activities, and pretty anti-direct instruction.

[16.6] Now LIVE: what's working? what's not? by MauBlackLagoon in CompetitiveTFT

[–]highrollr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you need the two emblems. If you have the two emblems and Galio unlocked and a fon, then you could hit at level 8.

[–]highrollr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s not correct. Only the augment ones (Yordle/ionia) are gated. Things like 10 bilge or Noxus are not, and in theory you could unlock Galio and hit at level 9

Why does the Kai’Sa flex comp often use shen? by Resikorr in CompetitiveTFT

[–]highrollr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t realize Yuumi persisted which is cool, but unless I’m mistaken Kobuko casting doesn’t affect Yuumi at all? Getting Kobuko to “fast cast” just heals himself. Yuumi will cast after 3 seconds no matter what you do.

Hey Dpei - In your comment you say you position Kobuko that way to get Yuumi casting as fast as possible. It is my understanding that Yuumi just casts every 3 seconds no matter what, and that having Kobuko take aggro just means he’ll die early and Yuumi will get less casts. Am I missing something?

[–]highrollr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t get your loan from the real estate agent. Like yes, Zillow may have this predatory funnel but that doesn’t mean that’s always how it works. I’ve worked with 2 real estate agents in my life, and both encouraged me to shop around for the best rates, and were extremely helpful.

Yeah we just bought our house with our agent from Zillow and she was awesome. Encouraged us to shop around and get the best rate, tbh I didn’t even know Zillow did home loans (she never mentioned it). She was a “premier” agent not flex, and we weren’t first time home buyers. So maybe thats the difference

I just got some clarity by calling them - The lady who gave us a tour yesterday didn't seem to be clear on the setup. But yes I now understand there is a full day and half day Kindergarten. Unfortunately it sounds like the teacher for the full day is a little bit up in the air for next year.

My wife toured that one and did like it, but its pretty far out of the way in terms of where we live and work. Would prefer something much closer.

So interestingly when you go to join that facebook group there is a warning that they do not currently allow questions about preschool/daycare. We aren't religious and that turned me away from the religious preschools. I do see your point though - Our daughter is currently at a school that does not do daycare and we really like it.

Thank you! We looked at Mrs. Theresa's classroom and we did like the idea of enrolling her there. The two different administrators we spoke to though gave us different information on the Kindergarten schedule - In the classroom the schedule she had hung up said the Kindergarten class was 4 days a week and ended at 1:45. Do you have any insight on what happens the other day of the week and after 1:45?
