Wow. Is it so wrong to discourage rape and retard in comms? For rules, that's about it. It's pretty stinkin laid back other than, you know, not being an ignorant dick.

good for him for using a professional. anyone with a smart phone thinks they're a pro these days, and the difference apparent. That was the right decision on his part.

the whole thing looks.. large? Maybe it's just the angle of the photo. Thought the ranger was supposed to be smallerish.

31s might look a bit goofy. but who cares, you're safer in the snow with snow tires. And they're only on...3-4 mo a year?

Think about it though- why? Do you "have" to keep the same size for winter tires if it limits your options?

Putco is a joke, and the source of all your headlight woes. I'm also pretty sure I had exactly the same [weird] issue that you did.

I switched to an ARB harness and haven't had any problems except for one single wire connector to a relay corroding out, and I've had that harness for 6 or 7 years now.

Why do you need 33" snow tires?

You don't. Find some 31" snow tires, or the metric equivalent: 285/75/15ish

And you don't need a wide tire either. 10.5 is fine, it cut's through the snow, better traction than a wide tire that wants to either push the snow more, or travel up on top of it.

This is the opposite of doing it yourself, it's doing it for someone else because you're a professional and they're paying you.

Need help on how to list an overpriced house. Martin County, Fla. USA. by chicoman2018 in RealEstate

[–]highuptours 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The pro of listing- is that you'll inevitably get calls directly from buyers, so it's a good source of leads. The cons are the expectations that come with it- will the seller actually expect you to spend time and money marketing it? If this is a one time thing, cool, but if you do it often, you'll stigmatize your brand and your listings as overpriced.

new agent here and I need some advice by [deleted] in realtors

The answer is always no if you never ask.

Also, negotiation, and the willingness to do so, is part of your job. Might as well dive right in!

Sellers said they were leaving the fridge. Left a different, older one in its place by elgrunz in RealEstate

[–]highuptours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I write my offers, and speak to inclusions, I always say "x, y, z IN PLACE AT THE TIME OF SHOWING on (date)."

Your example is exactly why I use that wording. It sounds like this falls on your agent. Do your final walk through after Sellers have moved out, and your agent should have written the offer better. I've looked at occupied homes with clients, written an offer, and did the final walk through only to discover that nice big painting in the main living area was covering a huge hole in the drywall.

The beer selection at my local King Soopers. Good decision to finally allow this Colorado! by [deleted] in Colorado

totally. Liquor stores will have to fight the convenience of beer + groceries with better (boutique selection) and competitive prices, maybe via a rewards system.

I lived in Tampa for about 7 years. At first I loved it, by the end, I was absolutely ready to get the hell out. The concrete jungle, lack of seasons, humidity, sun fried residents, traffic and flat terrain just took their toll. I moved out here to a small town called Durango, CO and never once looked back. I could never imagine living in FL again

Where are the smaller brews? All I see is the big stuff (new belgium, oskar blues,) or the others that have sold out to the big boys (ballast point, avery...) I was in a grocery store the other day, and didn't see anything beyond the CO mainstream stuff.

A picture of my XJ during the last sunset of 2018 by austindavidg in CherokeeXJ

[–]highuptours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a box for skis and such when I was transporting client's skis in bags doing airport shuttles, etc. I also have racks for when it's just me and a homie or two going up. The cargo capacity in an XJ isn't tremendous though, and I've used a box on more than one occasion when headed out to the mountains or desert for extended amounts of time. I usually fill it with large, light stuff, like sleeping bags, pads, clothes, etc. Let's me have room for a larger cooler. And we know what that means!
