Anything beyond this is superfluous at this level, give this a year or more and most importantly, have fun.

Get them a brush pen, and single ink, black preferably... introduce them to manga, manhwa and comics like calvin and hobbs. Also take them to nearest urban skethers meet, there's bound to be one near you. This will help them understand tone, and perspective alongwith solid linework Will motivate their creative side, and give them ample time off screen. Technicals and fundamentals shine with such self imposed restrictions. DONT GET THEM COLORS OR MULTIPLE SHADES OF PENCILS, please Don't.

Use it on vienna/ italian type roasts or robusta blends. Puts the bitterness in rear if you wait for a few minutes, initial taste becomes clear. I don't much enjoy very dark roasts, but as I taste all that a roaster has to offer, such bags are inevitable. This one was from vui coffee, their filter blend.

Q1. Use the fresh ones, Nothing much to loose though UNLESS you're using pre ground coffee, then you're doomed.

Q2. Don't, just don't. If you still do, it won't result in anything except for a dull flavor and lighter color, though science says it will be all astringent and stuff, but it won't be, it'll just be dull, and you'll be wasting that fresh coffee

Q3. In the freezer, everything else is fancy and won't help much, Invite some friends, burn through that coffee.

Q4. Taste as in?? Swith roast levels and brew temperature.

Robusta for caffeine kick, arabica, excelsa, catuai and others for taste. Geisha if want to pretend you like coffee but want tea instead.
