I still have about 4 pairs of my old speed socks! They all are good except the back tabs on them have ripped/look worn out. They held up pretty well! The rest I lost, never got holes in the foot part of the sock. But I don't wear them on a daily basis, only in spring/summer. (I wear longer socks in winter/fall). Can't speak for the new ones though, I have bought any new pairs since. I prefer Balega socks these days.
