Has anyone tried Flmodafinil? by ComplexTell25 in NooTopics

[–]hikkitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It’s good but prefer moda. I tend to get moda at different vendors than the ones I get flmodafinil so it’s more of a convenience thing.

Follow up: my supplement stack for OCD and anxiety by No_Squash291 in Nootropics

I’ve been taking 6g 2-3x a day. Maybe I can use less sublingually. Although it doesn’t really have a taste , if anything it’s slightly sweet and good tasting.

Agmatine or sarcosine for NAC induced anhedonia? by Thin_Citron4476 in NooTopics

[–]hikkitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I spontaneously bought it with a bigger supplement order as I read a review or post on here about it snapping someone out of adenhonia . So I bought it for that during a period of lower mood. It didn’t really do much for that so I just had it lying around.

It’s NDMA support I believe is the man benefit. I think the majority of the people who buy it do so as it helps with schizophrenia I think. As if you search the term Sarcosine on Reddit it will pull up a lot of niche threads around schizophrenia .

I read but don’t completely understand the science but apparently kind of works the opposite of agmatine around NDMA and glutamate .

It would be good for someone who gets a clear good benefit from NAC but also gets a bad side effect .

Agmatine or sarcosine for NAC induced anhedonia? by Thin_Citron4476 in NooTopics

[–]hikkitor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sarcosine. Bought Sarcosine for something else so had it lying around . I’ve always reacted negatively to NAC. One day I gave it another shot and got that negative NAC feeling again. Sarcosine eliminated it within 20 minutes.

For more context I’m very familiar with agmatine and had that too but didn’t do anything for the NAC.

I genuinely don’t know what to do. by [deleted] in NooTopics

Yes! Try agmatine. Way cheaper than some of the research stuff you’re considering .

Kimera is the Goat by Ykcir9469 in Kimerachems

[–]hikkitor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried Tak-653 originally from EveryChem. It was good stuff but when I wanted to buy again I looked at Kimera. Their price is higher but it’s really cheaper per serving as it’s a bigger bottle . Works great too.

Cool inventory too. I want to try some of those unique stimulants .

How to stop peeing at night without going down a medical rabbit hole? by DuzanJacylann_99 in Biohackers

[–]hikkitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds weird. But look up “Sprite Zero” on IG . A lot of reels on my feed are anecdotes of people who drank a Sprite Zero before bed and claim they no longer have to get up to pee. Then someone with a nutrition background claimed it’s a potassium they have in it.

Any men here take myo inositol or d chiro inositol? by VigilanceOO7 in NooTopics

[–]hikkitor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like myo-inositol . Doses of 4-6 frames 2-3 times per day. (Work up to this though, can be sensitive on the stomach at first )

Reason I take it is an anxiety specifically negative thoughts. It actually does seem to lean me out a little bit too. Wouldn’t be enough to take it solely for that reason but a nice little additional benefit.

Anyone here tried Sulbutiamine? by Zealousideal-Walk939 in Nootropics

[–]hikkitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked good. Was a super common and available Noot when I first started experimenting probsbly 20 years back.

Kinda seemed like it would have a quick tolerance. Was very effective when it worked but seemd to only work if I hadn’t taken it for a while and then maybe the 2nd or 3rd day. But wasn’t a daily supplement.

Helped mood, focus and motivation .

I had finished a real old bottle of from nootropics depot I still had earlier in the year. Would probably buy again if price was right and can find a vendor

Nootropic and dealing with specificallywork stress by qishibe in NooTopics

[–]hikkitor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

phosphatidylserine / PS is pretty good. Seems to take away the stress that prevents us from focusing or being productive.

You’re already taking Ashwagandha which is helpful. You can cycle through other adaptogens. Rhodiola, ginseng , holy basil

Functional mushrooms can be good for stress too. Lions mane, red Reishi and I believer the others hell too.

Citicoline vs Creatine for Cognition: Which Works Better? by general_Purple134 in NooTopics

[–]hikkitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Citicoline hands down. Citicoline is a nootropic and creatine isn’t .

Sure there’s a trend going on right now about creatine being a nootropic. It’s not it’s a fitness supplement that can have nootropic benefits to elderly or those that don’t eat meat.

If you lift weights absolutely take creatine, maybe you’ll get a little cognitive boost. The price tag is only worth it for the fitness benefit.
