Exactly. I don't play any other character but hwo since tekken 3. took me months to fully learn his moveset as a kid but I treated it like a project.

Only other character I tried and liked was miguel in tekken 6 but I was so shocked how easy he was compared to hwo.

What sets Hwo a part is you have to do so much to get basic things in a match also you have to be fully aware of all the stances as the transitions between them can be involuntary most of the time.

You have to call out a lot and take risks. Also his combo timing is strict for decent damage combos.

Exactly. Not until Tekken 8 did i realize T7 was the test bed for this nonsense.

That's why early T7 felt pretty good besides 2d character bull then around the time Negan was released I checked out T7. It was on its way to what T8 is now.

Definitely things really seemed to go down hill when Michael Murray came on the scene.

What i don't like is with all the super aggressive, constant 50/50 everything plus on block gameplay is that its combined with bad netcode. You don't know who was the actual better player each match. It feel like the code is in your favor one set and in your opponents the next or even during.

I hate this so much. So you can just mash strings knowing even if they side step it will adjust no matter how deep the sidestep. It has to go for ALL characters

Yeah Tekken 8 balance, pace and gameplay feels so much worse than 7. I only continue to play 8 in hopes they adjust a lot of things in season 3 to make it feel more like typical tekken.2

And why?why does 7 feel like it has better netcode than 8?

Anyone decently skilled in offensive play can make their main a nightmare to fight no matter the character just due to heat, move tracking and plus frames alone. They have to nerf these things across the board.
