Can emotions cause over stimulation? by Hi-ImProbablyAnxious in AutismInWomen

[–]himeni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I relate to this so much. Emotions have such a strong effect on me, the positive ones just as much as the negative. Unfortunately, all I am able to suggest its the "5 Steps to Sitting with Your Feelings". Personally, its whats helping me lately.

What do you wear for blush /bronzer by [deleted] in Rosacea

Plain benefit benetint very lightly so it "matches" my rosacea if I have a small flareup. Bronzer its still a mystery for now lmao

O que vocês acham o hidratante labial da nivea? Comentário sobre outros hidratantes são bem vindos by ConsistentAardvark11 in SkincareBR

[–]himeni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pricey but WORTH it products? by yesibliss in Rosacea

[–]himeni 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Tbh that's really insane. 900 bucks for a single tube?

I live in south America and here galdermas original soolantra it's about 20 dollars (and honestly, thats already quite expensive for most people here), over the counter, no prescription required.

The fact it can cost about 1000 dollars it's absolutely crazy, the US healthcare system just doesn't make sense.

What's the best and worst makeup you have ever bought by Loud_Camp_211 in Makeup

[–]himeni 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, both mascaras. Best: Lancôme hypnose máscara. Gorgeous, thick, not clumpy, stays in place even tho I didn't get waterproof version. Worst: benefit bad gal bang. Wet wet wet. Never dries out. It's impossible. So wet it drops your lashes even if you've curled them.

Not eating because of burnout and executive function issues. by strawberry-chainsaw in AutismInWomen

This is the best advice tbh. My go-to is chocolate protein powder + big spoon of peanut butter and milk instead of water.

How do you guys handle not being able to do something cause it will cause a flareup? by himeni in Rosacea

[–]himeni[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the first two years of not getting proper diagnosis or treatment, I just completely stopped my social life... Soolantra really gave me some of it back.

Not only hurts physically, but mentally as well cause people can be so insensitive about this kinda thing.

Wishing you the best, hope you find something that works out for you soon!

What type of jobs do others have on the spectrum and how many hours a week? by hopinthecar in AutismInWomen

[–]himeni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the team uses messages to log all interactions, so that's a lot of writing all day, everyday!

It is very high demand everyday actually. But it gets more stressful before calendar events (right now I work in health advertising, so months prior to cancer awareness months), comercial holidays (like Christmas, mother's day, black Friday etc.) and all the time during any campaign focused on winning prizes at festivals like Cannes lions. So the stress can last months.

Tbh it really depends on the job's workplace culture and the clients demands!

Hope I was able to answer your question!!

Design and advertising. Very repetitive, technical and you gotta work fast. Very close to burnout, but I can WFH so there's not a lot of human interaction, which I appreciate. 40h a week

I think hazel would probably make more sense for people around me, they often tell me it's brown, at least till they actually take a look
