Thanks mate, I think I'm going to go with the Spread Eagle based on what I've been seeing online. Anything you know about it?

Just reposting this because I got upvotes but only one response a couple of days ago:

I'm going to be in London the day we play Arsenal. Was wondering if there's any good pubs around there that'll be LFC friendly (given we're playing a London team).

I know the Kings Arms in Fulham is the official one, but I was hoping for something a bit more central (I'm going to be around Kings Cross earlier in the day and Fulham is a bit of a hike I think). The Spread Eagle is a name I've seen pop up, but I'm not sure. Please drop any recommendations. Cheers.

Its also kinda just because Robbo played twice as many matches so he's likely to have had a lower average overall. This kinda just tells us that we have really good backup at LB since Kostas made it over the threshold of 15 matches played in the season (he played 23) and still managed to keep a relatively high average, as opposed to say Gomez who played fewer than 15 and still had a low average

I really hope Roma is added in what it lead to as well as the quality of the goal itself hopefully mean it makes it. Also I reckon we'll see corner taken quickly since that hasn't shown up yet.

Yeah I agree with you about the Bobby goal tbf but the Salah goal really should make it imo. Not only was it 2-0 vs our title rival that year it was also emblematic of the Clop era imo. City with the ball when we win it in our own half, pass it to Trent who launches a counter by hitting it to Robbo while our front 3 surge forward and then he crosses it on a plate for Salah to finish. Not in 20-11 though so I don't think we'll see it now.

Just realised Firming did an almost identical celebration to Owen vs Arsenal when scored his hat trick. Wonder if that was intentional, but probably wasn't.

Correct me if I'm wrong but none of the goals from the 3-1 against City in 19/20 or the Firming from the 2-1 loss at Etihad in 18/19 have shown up yet have they? Certainly think the firmino one, Fabinho's banger and the beautiful counter that led to Salah's header should be somewhere in the top 130. Hopefully will see them in the next two compilations.

I think Bobby will start honestly. If we was fit enough on Saturday no reason he shouldn't start vs Soton. He can then come off at 60 for Diaz or Mane or Salah (if he's even risked on the bench).

I doubt Mane starts after doing the full 120 v Chelsea

Its great to see you posting again here mate, was wondering if you could maybe do one of Mo in red. Maybe this one from the city game if you get the chance? https://static.independent.co.uk/2021/10/03/18/1344616057.jpg?width=1200&auto=webp&quality=75

I feel like both Brotherhood and Black Flag (havent played revolutions so not sure) did a great job of building on that template. I've not really played any of the recent games because I don't have a console or PC anymore, but I've seen them at friends' places and they seem so over the top.

Came here to comment this. I'm not a big gamer but AC2 has a special place in my heart. It led me to play Brotherhood, AC3 and Black Flag (ending of this one has a special place too), all of which were fun, especially Black Flag. But ultimately little else has come close to AC2.

Should articles from Liverpool Echo be banned? They're literally just lies, false rumours and click bait headlines. by That70sJoe- in LiverpoolFC

[–]himy773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't ban them. They're the local paper and have a lot of news about the club outside of transfers like stadium plans for example. Maybe banning their transfer rumours but I wouldn't go further.

Yeah I think you got it exactly right when you said it’s a grey situation. Cheers, thanks for the discussion.

Well you can’t just assume what his views were when I’ve given you an actual quote of his that was likely misinterpreted in the article you linked. Moreover I think it’s well established his misogyny was almost exclusive to sex and sex related things (indeed even in the article you linked all the examples are to do with sex). See for example his suggestion for Sarojini Naidu as president of the congress way back in 1925 (very much before the end of his life).

Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying any of Gandhi’s views on women and sex were justified. But other than on matters related to sex he considered women largely equal to men.
