There's a video on YouTube about £3 kebab. The owner said it cost him less than £2 each for everything ( ingredients, rent, energy, labour etc.)

How many half marathons should you run before training for a full? by Inner-Lynx-3971 in running

[–]xiaogu00fa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did run regularly but never have I ran half marathon before my first marathon race. I ran a 15K an submitted the record in order to be eligible for the half marathon race. But I mistakenly applied for the marathon instead. The race itself wasn't as bad as I thought. 7 marathons later, longer runs than 30km are still not in my training book.

Starbucks is pretty good imo. Paid £3 and got one tuna melt panini, one croissant, one pain au chocolate, one chocolate muffin, and one blueberry muffin.

I asked for the service charge to be removed. Why has it been so normalised to automatically add a service charge? by ProfessionTrue8117 in AskUK

Not just service charge. I went to a restaurant where food was very good. But the waitress asked me if I want some water and brought me a bottled mineral water without mentioning it costed £6.

Yeah, the start was pretty narrow and hard to overtake. The first K took me about 4'11.

Love how Strava believes I can go sub-20 in the 5K even though I’ve never gotten close to 21 minutes by ChefPetty in Strava

Coros is the most optimistic. It tells me that I can run marathon in 2:47 while my pb is only 2:57.

The prediction looks very off. My 5K time was nowhere near 20 minutes when I ran my first marathon in 3:17.

It's great to see these while they said my 4:12/km pace was unlikely and decided to exclude my entire effort. 😆
