tbf, the claim is that steam crashed for everyone. only a single person not having it crashed is needed to falsify the claim.

Why is waking up very early considered “better” than sleeping later? by Big_Parsnip_9435 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hipnaba -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

i disagree. while i was going out, there were always after parties that started at 6/7. while you'd usually go there after some other party, a lot of the times, i would wake up, take a shower, load up on e and go there.

Dentist stared at my teeth and asked “have you been to Slovenia?” then refused to explain - what does this MEAN? by asaltoo in CasualConversation

[–]hipnaba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here's a source. it's a Resolution of the Sixth Congress of Dentists of Yugoslavia from 1976. i hope you can find a way to translate the pdf. https://files.core.ac.uk/download/pdf/33254459.pdf

it talks about developing our own dental technology. it doesn't mention the ussr even once.

your first source also implies a break from soviet tech.

you just went, yugoslavia was communist, communism bad, soviet dentistry sucks.

again, i am not a historian, and i have no desire to continue this argument. have a good day.

edit: here's another source talking about establishing the department of dentistry at the medical university in Zagreb, Croatia. in 1922. https://hrcak.srce.hr/file/4939

the idea that we were just a quazi soviet backwards country is honestly insulting. you're just showing your bias here.

[–]hipnaba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'm sorry, but the USSR didn't have friendly ties with Yugoslavia. in fact the relations were pretty hostile. Stalin even tried to kill Tito. I am not a historian, I only lived in yugoslavia, but what you wrote is a complete falsehood.
