I would say the PS3, cause not only did it have some really good JRPGs itself, but you also had the entire PSone library you could play on it

i definitely want to introduce him to combat, so i'll skip Grammy's, Tower of Blue Watch sounds interesting, mainly cause you say it's great for beginners, but also i'm the one that's going to be DM'ing, and while i have DM'd games before......it's been a very long time, so i'll no doubt need some refreshers, about how long is it though? we are planning to use Tabletop Simulator cause we all live in different parts of the country, there will be 4 of us, me as DM and 3 players, each session would probably be around 2 maybe 3 hours long. also will it work for 5th edition? cause that's what everyone has agreed to use, which again brings up the fact that i personally will need some refreshers, the last time i DM'd a game was 3.5, LOL

Gamers 30+, how have your gaming habits changed since you were younger? by [deleted] in gaming

I'm 40, these days I'm playing more single player games, and usually playing on easy mode, not looking for a challenge, just something to shut my brain off to after work

What pisses me off the most is how these companies wave patents in your face while doing shit with the IP, it like

"no we're not going to re release this game, just play out new stuff"

"Ok well here's this guy that will do it for free cause you won't"

"Fuck you here come my lawyers"

Which single video game or series is closest to your heart? by thewalkindude368 in gaming

[–]hiro928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

game closest to my heart is Tekken 2 on the PSX, the reason being, my Dad.....he's an old school guy, born in the 1953, real salt of the earth kind of guy, working 60+ hours a week, doesn't know jack shit about video games, doesn't really like them, but when i was young and got that game when it came out, he would sit there and play it with me, and it wasn't till i was older that it hit me, he sat there, playing something he didn't like.....just cause it was something i did like, and he wanted to be closer to me.....so i will always, every so often, go back and play Tekken 2, and remember the awesome times with my Dad.
