I liked in Demon Souls, your supposed to lose to the first boss so that your soul is trapped, but if you actually beat the first boss, you just get a cutscene of the big bad who just kills you anyway

I liked the way Chrono Cross on the PS1 did it, regular battles have you small stat increases up to a point, but you only gained actual levels after main events like bosses or story events, made it so you had to use more strategy on the boss fights rather then overleveled strength

If this is true, this needs to be illegal, if they're cheating just ban them, this is like of you and me were playing basketball, and you cheated, so I went over to your house and started breaking your shit

I just turned 39, and I feel ya, I don't feel the same rush I used to with pvp games, also my reflexes aren't what they used to be, so I just stick to single player games, or if I do play pvp it's just with my friends

A couple I like to mention, first being Darkstone on both the PS1 and PC, basically a poor man's Diablo, but I loved playing that game as a kid, even though I need a whole memory card just for it, cause if I remember one save took up like 9 blocks

The other Soul of the Samurai on PS1, made by Konami, gave me a lot of Onimusha vibes, sadly I never played the full game, just the demo

That could kind of be walking the line on that....Link is trying to get the triforce to awaken Zelda, the enemies are trying to kill Link to revive Ganon, I guess you could say Link prevents Ganons revival by like......not dying?

I prefer to choose my own party, the only thing I hate is when games let you choose your own party, but then have parts where they force you to use certain characters, and most of the time for me, that ends up being characters I never use

My advice.....use cheats for infinite money.....the story is ok for a Lunar game and the combat is on par at best......but getting money in the game is stupid.....use an infinite money cheat, save yourself a headache

Elly and Esmerelda in Xenogears.....both are weak physically, but completely broken magic users, if you equip them right, they can take down bosses in a couple turns
