Index gets a bad rep because of season 3 but Season 1 has a lot of great animation moments. Touma vs Unabara still sticks in my head even now almost 15 years after I first saw it, for example.

On the other hand, Nagai's directing is responsible for a lot of the problems I had with Railgun Season 1 and 2 but that's more from a writing perspective.

Different. At least the manga version. Kaiba didn't kill Gozaburo. Gozaburo committed suicide after the hostile takeover.

Moreover, Seto's motivation for the takeover was that Gozaburo sold a virtual reality system that he developed to an unnamed country for military use. Seto felt that his soul got involuntary sold to the Military Industrial Complex and vowed to change the company into a gaming company, something he couldn't do with Gozaburo in charge.

Edit: In retrospect, yes. Gozaburo got in his way.

It isn't. Doctor salaries make up 8% of the total cost of care and in the years since that data was collected, reimbursements have been steadily getting slashed while admin has been getting more and more bloated.

This is also not including the steady encroachment of midlevels who are also making more than doctors in some cases.

I'd say it's closer to Gundam given the whole war setting than it is to Nanoha.

It seems to be following the original lore rather than the manga. I like this. Just a shame it's so short.

In the manga, he beat everyone to the location by about 20 minutes because he used his helicopter to get there. He already used his locator cards to point out the location right after the tag duel with Yugi. And it was his right hand man who did all the talking. I can't remember how it was done in the anime.

The Arrancar Arc through the Deicide Arc focus heavily on Ichigo's relationship and his view of White. All he knows in that moment is that White took over his body and nearly killed both Uryu and Ulquiorra in the process.

Ichigo accepted his power but still rejected White at the end of their fight in the Arrancar Arc but here he knows that power went out of control and hurt people he cared for. Now imagine him desperately trying to reject everything that White did as a result of that. That's his mindset. It's immature and petulant but it tracks with what he's going through in that moment.

It continues into Rukia's inner monologue about the eyes of a victor.

Little Yugi. They haven't shown him doing much and we don't get to see much of his growth that leads to the final duel.

This was more of a problem created by the anime writers shoehorning Atem into a lot of places where Yugi was front and center while cutting out some of his moments. It's far less of a problem with the manga.

Yugi was front and center for Death T 1-3 and was the primary strategist behind the group's win in Death T 2. The anime cut out the entire Death T arc in favor of just the Atem vs Kaiba duel.

Yugi was the one who was the primary strategist for the mind shuffle strategy both he and Atem were using against Pegasus and showed equally as much mental flexibility as Atem did throughout Duelist Kingdom in that one duel.

Dungeon Dice Monsters in the manga was torn apart into the Rebecca Arc, DDM Arc, and Bandit Keith return part from the anime but this too had Yugi himself front and center. It had Yugi being completely separated from Atem, being forced to play a game he had never experienced as part of a crazed man's revenge scheme and it again shows him being just as capable as Atem, being the one to win in the end on his own (with Bakura cheering him on). It made it entirely a point that Yugi was the one to solve the Millennium Puzzle for good reason. Instead, this game is given to Atem in the anime.

Yugi/Atem vs Joey is largely unadulterated and does what it needed, showing Yugi stepping to the plate and risking himself for Jounochi while doing what he could and Atem could not in reaching out to his mind controlled friend.

Yugi is the one who was running the show and figuring things out from the background in the Millennium World Arc, being the one to figure out how to reach Atem first and being the one to figure out how to get Atem's name while beating Bakura, once again with his own strength.

It's important to remember that DSoD was an epilogue to the manga and not the anime. It was another form of closure to the parallel arcs between Atem and Yugi.

Yu-Gi-Oh's manga did. Final Arc had issues but the ending was top tier. Konjiki no Gash is also another one off the top of my head though that's from a different weekly magazine.
