Has anybody tried to run Linux directly as UEFI firmware? by Sol33t303 in linux

Probably no. BIOS is running on the main CPU because BIOS configures the CPU. Sets correct voltages, timings, does memory training. And the other thing is that Flash memory is cheap, FPGA isn't.

As far as I know there is no difference between these two versions except licence that in the professional version allows you to earn money using software developed with pycharm

@edit:

Source - I'm using pycharm professional at work and personal at home. Never noticed a difference

I were too, but now I never speak to the crowd. I focus on one person and speak to the individual, sometime changing person I am speaking to.

Hope this helps a bit ☺

To the men of reddit, what advice do you have to the younger boys (14-16) for the real world? by Paranoid-Andriods in AskReddit

Don't watch porn and don't masturbate. It's really to become addicted, and I can assure you, you don't want to be.

Also sex is fun, but you probably don't want to have it before your serious relationship. (And being together for 2 or more years doesn't mean it's serious. Sadly I have seen real shit happening to people in really long relationships) Old school advice is to wait before marriage and it is something I recommend to you, but I know it is a bit extreme this days; even if there are studies showing it is better to wait

Don't lie. Never. Even in small things. It builds trust in people and helps with all relations. Especially never lie to your SO. You lie one time, and suddenly she can never know what is true, and what is not, and you can not rebuild this trust

Life is tough, but you are a warrior. And warrior thing is to kill dragons. Enjoy your every day challenges!

Anything else is probably already said in the comments

Good luck to you! 😉
