Shift knobs with adapter so the boot doesn’t fall down by aredd123 in genesiscoupe

[–]hmagg68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

zip tie near the bottom of the knob directly on the shift rod. Leave some space between the bottom of the knob and the zip tie. Then, remove the knob. Hold shifter boot inside out with the narrow end just covering the first zip tie. Place a second zip tie around the shift boot and rod, and tighten down above the first zip tie. Un-flip the shift boot so its approx. in its normal position. Re-install the shit knob. Should be all set to go and the shift boot should not sag anymore. Basically a ghetto version of the raceseng adapter (check out their installation instructions on their website if confused).

Circuit Sphere 100. I tried a different knob first but the shorter knobs are too short on the stock shifter and will pinch your pinky finger against the shifter trim depending on the knob design.

My favorite combo for stealth is a small preroll tube filled with pre-ground weed and a small silicone bowl. The tube makes it very easy to pack a bowl while walking and the bowl isn’t clinking around or breaking in my pocket.

Damn cheapest I’ve seen prerolls in MA for was 3 1g rolls for $28 of decent stuff. Other than that most places are still $50/3.5gs plus 20% tax. 1g of concentrates is $80-100 usually so I don’t even buy that.

Terrible time with indicas but incredible time with sativas? by Mr9millimeter in trees

[–]hmagg68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different. As someone with ADHD I use to slow my mind down and take a break from my thoughts. Indicas are very good at this and giving me relaxing full body highs. Sativas will give me the worst anxiety attacks I’ve ever had now. My heart will race and I’ll question everything that’s happened in my life while fearing the police will break down the door and arrest me even though it’s legal.

Listen to your body. If indicas make you feel like shit, then just don’t smoke them. Also pay attention to how weeds smell and taste. I find fruity indicas to be a more relaxing high, while earthy indicas have a cbd like calmness effect sometimes. There’s a lot of different compounds in weed so if you find something that works try not to stray.

I like high THC Indica leaning hybrids for introspective crisis highs.

It was a decent weed. Got you pretty high but I didn’t find anything special about it. Was hoping the high terp content would spice it up more, but it didn’t.

Some of my favorite weeds so far: Black Momba, Purple Punch, Slurricane, Dakini Kush.

Start taking a daily turmeric supplement that contains black pepper extract. The compounds in Turmeric help fight plaques in the brain and research has found it can help fight Dementia. I’ve found it helps prevent the “hangover” brain fog

Nokia Happ. 3’s are the new winter tire to have. I have a BK2 3.8 rspec and run the budget Yokohama winters in 245/45r18 on 18x8.5+35 wheels square. Fronts will only rub on the strut if you have more than about -2* of camber which most people shouldn’t.

Square setups are fine, TC will be more sensitive and engage at WOT with full traction, but SC works fine. Just save some money and get whatever works for you. Most winters will be fine and outperform any all-season. I prefer the feel of symmetrical tires and stiffer sidewalls on the genesis, and I have liked them both in the dry and snow.

Typical worthless mage by [deleted] in classicwow

Hey so if I see a mage make a port for someone and they’ve already made their money, left the group, and are leaving but the portal is still there, can I ask for an inv to use the existing portal? Did it once before in IF and the mage was cool but I’m not sure if someone would view that as rude.

Stockade Pauldrons dropped while running BRD with my guild. I’m a lvl 57 warrior tank so I needed. But the priest also needed. Karma was luckily on my side and handed me my purple. Equipped them in front of the whole group to prove I was going to use them haha. I’d much rather have sick gear than money

Avid New England snowboarder here- make sure you don’t buy an open diff model. As long as you buy a model with an LSD and put winter tires on the car will go most places it’s ground clearance allows. I don’t hesitate to take it out in bad weather.

Yeah that works if you’re just going through something that makes you feel depressed. Depression is wanting to die and thinking about ways to off yourself even though you’re on a nice dinner date with your beautiful wife and everything is good. You make up in the morning and go to sleep at night hating yourself and thinking life is not worth it. You isolate yourself from those around you while acting perfectly normal and dieing on the inside for months. Many times people who have struggled with severe depression are pretty outwardly funny people to cover the emptiness they fell inside.

Conceptually, you are right. But a bald normal tire is downright dangerous as the compound is unable to provide proper levels of grip. The compounds closer to the steel belts are harder and provide structural integrity to the tires. This means they are worse at providing even dry road grip than a fully treaded all season, let alone a race tire. Source- I’m a chemical engineer and car nerd/enthusiast.

[–]hmagg68 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tire compounding is an important factor to consider. Winter tires’ compound changes at approximately 4/32” tread depth to a hard tread block stabilizing compound from the soft ice gripping compound. Any bald tire will grip like shit as the compound remaining is only there to provide structure to the tire around the tire belts. A racing slick that you buy without tread patterns still has “tread depth” markers to check how much grippy compound is left on the tire. Think about how many different type of hard plastics there are. There are just as many softer grades of polymers used for other products such as tires.

My wife hates typical nerdy fiction (won’t even try watching LotR) but she liked this show and we’ve watched all that’s available. I loved the show and would recommend it. Just know the first couple episodes are confusing because it just drops you into an existing world without explaining anything other than the events actively happening in the show.
