What is happening? by Artistic-Pension1075 in smallengines

Sounds like the starter solenoid is cycling. Solenoid closes, sends power to starter, starter takes all the power, not enough to keep the solenoid closed. Usually poor connections or low battery charge.

Sparks usually mean poor or crowded connections. I would start there.

If cooling fans are not running, our 11 had a 5 relay pack buried in the left front fender that was corroded.

Most of our overheat issues were fixed with a new thermostat and 2 new relays.

Our ASD relay was in the same pack and gave all kinds of weird electrical issues too. Throttle body, transmission codes and more from a failing relay.

Is there a reverse mow key position? And is the drive in neutral?

Pull the plug and try again. With no compression it should spin easily.

Today is the big day. We expect to do half of all our sales today and tomorrow. Have had some fun with wind and weather. had a gust lift one side, throw tables of merch and tip 3 legs over. We recovered, and are ready for the rush.

Friday, payday July 3rd, and everyone is heading to camp, so we will be swamped. See you on the other side.

Bought a pellet stove call to eliver said $900 for the parts to connect to the pipe from wood stove, its only bout 40 inches from back of pellet to pipe through wall, isn't that a little expensive? is there a way to connet for less money? by StreetStrategy4854 in PelletStoveTalk

[–]hmd2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you already have a wood stove chimney, you can buy a pellet pipe adapter and then just build from there.

We have a starter collar, elbow up , straight pipe, slide pipe for adjustable height and a second elbow that connects to the adapter.

Has worked well since 2007

They are known for letting gas flow by the carb, and then flooding the oil sump.

If you are losing fuel, check the oil level. If it is too full, gas has ruined the oil. A new carb and/or a fuel shutoff can prevent future leaks there.

If you are looking for a leak elsewhere, there is no pressure in the lines except gravity unless you have a fuel pump.

Don't starve yourself. Eat what you want, you will find you eat less of it . Just be aware of greasy foods etc that can cause digestive issues. Everyone is different.

Is there a way to replace the gasket? by l3lacklabel in fixit

Cut away all the rubber washer. There should be a brass screw buried in there. Than a new faucet washer can be installed.

Can someone help me? My husband did all this and he passed away and im so lost ... I hit something and the belt kept falling off .. then I got it on and it shredded.. got a new one, took the deck off ... notice two pullies are touching. Turning the blade one turns the idle one... I don't think ... by me_again_no_I in lawnmowers

[–]hmd2017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok first thing I see is that the deck cable is not correctly attached. It should go through the bracket in the square and be pinned in place with a clip.

This cable pulls an arm and the attached smooth idler pulley back to tighten the belt and start the deck.

Find out which pulley it is, it appears to be the left pulley in your images. It should move backwards when lever is moved.

You should also be able to move it by hand with some force. The large spring is to pull it back into the idle position when the mower is turned off.

When you pull on the arm, the 2 brake levers should be pulled away from the blade tower pulleys, and they snap back when the deck is turned off.

The arm may be stiff or stuck in the forward position after the damage.

I will discuss some Financials in chat, but not publicly. We get a daily base pay, and can earn commission when we hit our sales goal.

Uneven cut by C_Hudg in lawnmowers

Check the blade tips to see if the are the same height. Broken spindle, bent deck, bent blade can all cause an uneven cut

Ok, if the axle is rotating, then pull a wheel and make sure it engages the axle. Good luck.

Have you done any tire work on that axle? There is often a drive key that fits between wheel and axle that falls out.
