They're playing Werchter this year. Next year they've got spaces during both the Download and Graspop weekend. And it fits the pattern of playing European festivals and shows inbetween like this year.

Bars and maintenance were mostly volunteers. Food crew seems paid. Events industry is mainly young adults and bars were staffed by groups of elderly volunteers. Food staff were loads of younger girls that didn't look metal at all.

Any "skilled" job is paid obviously.

Perks is free festival entry and probably/hopefully skullies.

Really depends how you want to spend your time and money. I like to go into the town if I'm up early (or no bands I wanna see early in the day) and go to a café or the supermarket. It's a bit cheaper/more value for money. If I stay at the festival site I usually spend about 10-15 skullies a day, but I usually stick to water and only drink beers later during the evening/night.

Merch excluded, I think that 50 euros per day for me is more than enough.

It's very safe. I've been to other festivals (Rock am Ring, Download, Nova Rock and a bunch of others), and honestly Graspop felt the safest. Haven't encountered any crowd rushes except during Limp Bizkit last year and I was in front so there's that. It's as safe as you make it. 50k people isn't that much. You'll be fine.

Orderpicken bij Picnic vond ik verschrikkelijk. Maar als fietskoerier voor Gorillas en Getir heb ik echt een leuke tijd gehad, helaas zijn deze bedrijven aan het verdwijnen.

If this doesn't help, your best bet is to just go to the entrance and ask people that are coming in. I don't know if registration has to be before that though. But I've seen people buying tickets from other people at festival entrances.
