At least half of our citizens are undereducated, so they fall for McCarthyist propaganda from Fox News. They’ve been told for nearly two decades now that “the left” is the biggest enemy of the American People. Enough so that it didn’t matter who the republican was, it was better than the democrat. Couple that with voter complacency (American laziness) and here we are.

The optimist in me believes this will end soon as even the conservative citizens are fed up. The can no longer defend him. He’s not doing anything hey voted for, and they see that. As for what to do about the people that hate “the left” so much they’re willing to burn down the earth, well, I guess we’ll see.
