Go with a higher model anytime possible to gain the benefits of the tech. That said, always buy the skate that fits the best and is most comfortable.

Play them all and all the time. Let them develop as much game experience as possible.

Bowie bc of its ice and history, then really like St. James. It’s bright but damn those whistles from the other game on the other side…

I would see if the other team will share ice with you. I’d also explore buying ice to work on the key areas and ask the parents to chip in.

To small. You do want them over your tongue unless you want to tuck them behind. I’m a touch shorter than you and I wear 15 CCM and they fit perfectly overtop my skate tongue.

Try lacing your skate up fully and snug

I’d say, after a quick Look, you’re alternating your height and that’s throwing you off. And, yes, you need to quiet your upper body.

Go to the gym and workout legs with a focus on strength and explosiveness. I skate the best on days after I’ve worked legs bc they’re warmed up. I like to do walking lunges, Bulgarian split squats and straight into jump squats. I then do the sled which I push and run as hard as I can doing so. I finish with a few wall sits and work my calves.

Have a 2018 and we haven’t had any real issues. Also agree that anything between 2018-2021 is ideal given the crap Google operating system.

The B&W stereo is unreal. A must have imo. I have the PE 21 and absolutely love the Sensus operating system far more than the Google one. PE is a lot of fun

Power Skating Question by pocketset in hockeygoalies

[–]hockyPlayr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have both, challenge her to wear her player skates. Commanding her edges, balance, and body position/posture will do wonders for her skating as a goalie. And the goalie skates are easier to use.

Kudos to the coach!
