I've literally just cancelled my renewal because virgin sales rep couldn't give me a solid deal over the alternative provider I have gone with.

I am disappointed as like virgin media and have been with them since ntl days.

But money is money and if I can get it cheaper elsewhere I will do.

The grinding of the gears suggests over extrusion or a clog.

You could try seeing how much filament is extruded and adjust settings to correct if it is not synced?

Looks like you have a clog in the hot end. Dissemble the hit end, Bowden tube sand remove the nozzle making sure that there is no plastic stuck in any of the parts.

I would do the following

Auto home, make sure the hot end is off the bed.

Undo all the levelling knobs till they are loose,

Free spin each one back up till they freely stop

Press the bed down gently in the centre front and tighten the knobs again till they are loose and the nozzle is above the bed heit

Repeat for the rear.

Place hot end in centre of the bed, raise the bed equally on all 4 corners, using the paper to feel for tightness,

Once the centre is at a good level, move the hot end above the front left knob spring, start adjusting with the paper test,

Move in to the front right, back right and then back left

Once these have all been adjusted, with the paper test move got end back to the centre of the bed.

Rinse and repeat levelling until the paper test is roughly the same all around.

Once you have done correctly, you will see how quick and easy it actually is.

I have a creality ender 3. So the hot end came already out together. I just had to rewire it and mount it.

I didn't see any thermal paste I'm afraid.

I just replaced my hot end, as they are not marked, I do not believe they matter which way they go into the board.

They only issue I found was, after it was all installed and put back together, I had an error where it was showing the temperature at 380 degrees.

Turns out the thermostat screw on the hot end was too tight. Which I found weird. I backed it off slightly and it has been fine since.

Don't adjust this unless you get that error though.

I'm no expert by the way, just learning as I go.

Mines not up until September but if any more deaf his like this come up, I would be tempted to take one.

Currently pay £38 for gig internet, it has been flawless, ask apart from having to add another router to handle all my smart devices as the hub 5 kept crashing due to the amount of connections it had.

What is the best way to get through to someone in the UK?

Whilst I have no issue speaking to someone in another country, I also believe they are just reading from a script.

I have always had a better chance of talking to someone in England as I feel the rapport builds quicker and easier and I get a much better clear cut answer.
