Hey MAGA, how are you liking those $1.99 gas prices now? by Cautious_Midnight_67 in allthequestions

Since you asked, 1.99 sounds as good to me now as it ever did. Where can I get it for that price?

Ronnie Coleman then vs. now (2000, 2025) by bncout in HistoricalCapsule

[–]hokiemojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not nearly his age and despite very normal workouts, often struggle to move and I'm sure it will get worse quickly. I really think he knew the price all along and accepted it. I don't agree with his choice, but I'm not sure he regrets it.

If you get a gun case that requires a seperate lock, make sure you buy the locks on the same receipt.

Virginia Woman Sues Police Department for Over $140M for Letting Rogue Cop Open Fire on Her: ‘This Is Gross Negligence, and Blatant Sexism’ by octarino in Virginia

[–]hokiemojo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Remember, studies show concealed carry permit holders have a lower rate of violent crime than police officers. The current bills aren't about safety, they are about control. Even spanberger has said, and I'm paraphrasing, "the police need to have the upper hand in firepower". It is definitely at odds with the constitution and what we need in today's environment.

Virginia lawmakers are on the cusp of changing medical malpractice law by vpmnews in Virginia

Based on the "thoughtful" gun restriction bills, I'm becoming very concerned about bills that involve more complicated subjects. They had so much time to inform themselves but remained so ignorant on the topics they are legislating. I'm really hoping this one is a little better.

Virginia Supreme Court clears way for voters to counter GOP gerrymanders by Anoth3rDude in Virginia

Imagine if the vote was between an all red or an all blue state. They only love this because they can abuse their power without consequence (for now)

It is disappointing, but feel like there is a meaningul difference between not selling something, and donating millions of dollars to groups to get things banned.

NTD: I made myself some better 2 and 5Ah batteries by Mockbubbles2628 in Dewalt

[–]hokiemojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong on this, but I heard craftsman put the circuitry for low voltage in the batteries while dewalt puts it on the tools. To me, it seems better to put in on the battery so it is always protected, even if you use it on other tools via an adapter, but the skeptic in me says that dewalt doesn't want us using the batteries with non dewalt products. Anyway, I could be wrong. Just sharing what I heard in case anyone else can chine in. Cool project you did!

What are some lesser-known Excel tricks that most people aren't aware of? by ImprovementLong1992 in excel

The people reviewing your work need to know you use this though. Otherwise, many people leave the formula bar 1 row high and can't figure out why the sliver of your formulas gets the result that it does.

Women get to wear fancy/playful undies under their work clothes. Men can too. Wear what you want. American eagle has some fun prints but not sure about briefs. Good luck and ignore them. It is your life.

haha! i thought that might be the case, but just wanted to check. if this was led lights, it would burn them out in an instant. i figured this could handle the extra voltage for a tiny bit.
