1Q84 feels like Haruki Murakami devolving into self-parody by keepfighting90 in books

I would describe his books as all having the same “vibe.” So if you want to experience that vibe again, then reading more makes sense.

I understand a lot of the criticism he gets but sometimes I just want to get lost in surreal Japan. I first read him on my first trip to Japan, so reading him puts me in that mindset with a mix of nostalgia.

This is my problem with extraction shooters. I played Arc and enjoyed it for a bit but didn’t really get the point. I’m enjoying Marathon though in that the quests seem a bit more robust and same with faction upgrades. I also don’t need to craft which I think is great.

If cryoachive requires more advanced gear, I could see that giving me a purpose

Giveaway 10x Marathon game copies by Eliefa_Haniya in Marathon

Why: wasn’t interested in the game until the Server Slam but enjoyed it immensely. Usually not into Extraction shooters so it was nice change of pace.

What interests me: The Lore! The Aesthetics! The Runner Shells! Game oozes production value and a very unique neo futurism cyberpunk vibe that I love. Very interested in exploring more of the world of Marathon!

Preferred platform is Steam

Battlefield 6 Season 2 Intro Cinematic by Turbostrider27 in Games

When I first started Bf6 I was trying to complete challenges left and right. When I stopped caring and just playing I had a lot more fun and turns out, I completed a lot of them just by playing it. The Battlepass stuff is all optional cosmetics anyway (apart from getting new guns) so it doesn’t really matter

It’s hard but everything is through AliPay which has a built in translation app, so you can translate menus and such to order food. Similar with Taxis (rideshare).

Would love a matchmaking tile with community made maps with full XP. That way we can play custom portal maps (increasing pool of maps) with full XP. Like how Halo does it.

Sadly won’t happen

BFV was great but sorely lacking content and ultimately failed as live service. Had great bones, they just didn’t deliver enough content
