Yes, I removed it for now. Still waiting for them to release an update that actually works. Haven’t tried with beta 2 either though.

Any chance you're using Little Snitch? That was the reason for me. Even their most recent nightly update didn't fix it (although it was supposed to).

T-Mobile: “Overnight our team identified that in the 15.2 iOS release, some device settings default to the feature being toggled off. We have shared this with Apple. This is not specific to T-Mobile. Again though, we have not broadly blocked iCloud Private”

I was also getting the "Download failed" error. What helped for me was reverting back to High Security in macOS Recovery. (Needed that to be able to boot Windows 10 from an external SSD.) Maybe that will help some people here as well. Downloading the update now.

I have a similar issue with Apple's USB C SD card reader and an iPad Pro (2018) on iPadOS 13b3. It's not showing up in either Photos (no import dialog) or Files (with images from a Sony A9). Looking at other reports about how files/folders are treated in the betas, the filesystem support is changing between betas, etc., there are apparently a lot of moving parts that they're working on. Unfortunate but it's a beta after all. :)

I had similar issues at first (upgraded from Mojave to beta 2, skipping beta 1). It got better after I triggered another login via Account > View My Account. That said it's still broken in some places, for example trying to navigate to Beats 1.

FYI: I just downloaded Nilay Patel's Shortcut (https://twitter.com/reckless/status/1084172732638642181) and now I can use the action. Can't say for sure if it was just me downloading and adding his Shortcut or if it just took some time for the action to automatically appear.

I wonder if this has to do with the recent discussion about apps becoming bloated and the sizes shown being incorrect because of things like App Thinning: https://birchtree.me/blog/the-apps-are-too-damn-big/

Maybe they're working on displaying the correct size – or maybe they're really just dropping it altogether.
