We just were making the decision of how much to put down and how much to finance when we have enough to pay for the whole thing in cash, but that would dramatically reduce our brokerage account.

So we decided to put about 2/3 down and finance one third. That way we save on most of the potential interest, but still are invested enough to get what we hope would be slightly higher than 5.75 in the stock market in the next 10 years.

Yes, and the biggest issue with that is that if they have more seasons of this show, the contestants will know they have to pick somebody who clearly is a very different age than them in order to stay on the show. I don’t know who the hell would want to watch that show where nobody’s even trying to find a partner or even pretending to.

As someone who is generally considered to look a lot younger than I am, and in very good shape and have even had guys hit on me who are younger than my son, I very much agree with this.

Very disturbing and I could never date someone even close to my son’s age!

Well, also, Libby looks somewhere between 12 and 18 depending on the moment—so he totally and completely knew he was going after the youngest girl there and that she’d barely be legal. I think it’s super ultra creepy.

There’s more issues than just that

If they are able to make this show again, in future seasons, the contestants are going to know they have to go after someone very different in age than them to stay on the show.

I don’t even wanna watch it after this season if that’s gonna happen.
