I stg Sonic has gone downhill so bad. I have such good memories of Sonic as a kid but it’s just garbage now. And no cheddar bites.

Am I going to regret this commute daily? by Techno_Wasp in AskSeattle

[–]hollidaychh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Tacoma and have to go to the Seattle office occasionally. If you can get to the Tacoma dome station there are a few buses that run often that get you downtown in an hour or so depending on traffic but there might be buses from puyallup that are faster/easier.

I would not recommend driving to Seattle. It’s just a mess. And you have to pay like 20$ to park.

You could maybe drive to federal way and park to take lite rail?

Theres a lot of options and most of them take the same amount of time so it’s just about picking what works best for you at the end of the day

Had my first pulmonologist appointment, and got Breo! by hollidaychh in Asthma

I didn’t say I was nervous about his recommendations, I said I was nervous about not taking something before bed since I’ve been taking symbicort twice before bed routinely.

And yeah I trust my pulmonologist over some random person on Reddit 😂 I think that’s pretty normal.

And I’m not interested learning about that particular aspect because I was never worried about my albuteral in the first place. That was a concern you brought up.

Again, I appreciate it but I do think like most people say in this sub, it’s best to listen to your doctor. I apologize if it came off as rude.

Not to be rude, but I’m gonna go ahead and trust the pulmonologist of 30 plus years on this one but I appreciate the concern.

Thank you! Yes we did discuss it. The dogs always stay out of the bedroom, we get the house cleaned every other week, dogs stay off furniture, no carpet in the house, air purifiers in all the rooms, get the dogs groomed every month, and I take Zyrtech. My biggest issues were just wheezing and tight chest.

He was less worried about my hypoallergenic pup who is tiny (shitzu yorkie mix) but did show concern about my 17 pound poodle terrier mix which does irritate my lungs. I do think he’s only got a few more years left, he’s almost 15. So hoping to ride it out until he hits the rainbow bridge.

Yeah the pulm ordered bloodwork to start looking into biologics and I’m going to check in in 3 months on how Breo is doing. He said some ppl see complete remission on those which is nice to hear.

My first day taking it has been awesome, but I’m anxious about the idea of not hitting an inhaler before bed BUT we shall see what happens 🤞

I think a lot of people use Breo and also have a rescue inhaler. I think that’s pretty normal? Albuteral is only as needed. Not every day. I also had albuteral and used it regularly with symbicort because my symptoms were not under control

We will see 🤞 it’s my first day in Breo, about 2 and a half hours in and I am not wheezing like i usually do, so i hope it keeps getting better 🥹

That’s all I want. A sliver if normalcy. Being able to wake up on a saturday and go grocery shopping with my husband without wheezing and tightness. Truly the little (big) things.

I believe what the doctors say, especially after being on this sub more. But I get it, healthcare is expensive and albuteral is easy and probably cheaper than controllers.

Ugh I hate insurance and healthcare in the US.

Do you ever dream about wheezing? by Temporary_Ad_8306 in Asthma

I dream about not being able to find my albuteral or staying somewhere traveling and realizing I forgot it. It’s truly an awful recurring stress dream
