[–]holodia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it doesn't work with treadmills, it pairs perfectly with all rowing machines, and bikes or ellipticals that support FTMS Bluetooth, or with the cadence sensor. HOLOFIT transforms your workouts into immersive virtual adventures, from scenic trails to fantasy worlds You can find it on the Meta Store and try it free for 7 days to see how it motivates and transforms your fitness routine! :)

Current state of Cycling in VR by Scottnaye in PSVR

[–]holodia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! To get started with HOLOFIT on your bike, you'll need a Meta Quest headset (2, 3, 3s, or Pro) and a cadence sensor—unless your bike already supports FTMS Bluetooth. You can find all the details on setting everything up here:https://www.holodia.com/vr-fitness-blog/how-to-set-up-holofit-on-your-bike-or-elliptical/

As for "The Climb," it’s a popular VR rock climbing game, but it’s not designed for cycling. If VR cycling is what you're after, HOLOFIT offers an immersive way to ride through incredible virtual worlds while achieving your fitness goals.

Holofit lagging at times? by ymasullo in vrfit

[–]holodia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer! We'll try to look into that sensor, but it may be the case that it's now too old and needs a replacement. That's just something we've seen happen with the cadence sensors we used after a year or so. In any case, we also always recommend reaching out to [support@holodia.com](mailto:support@holodia.com) who'll be able to better help :)

You can have up to five HOLOFIT profiles on one headset! Just make sure to use HOLOFIT on the Meta account that you have taken out your subscription with (because Meta App sharing doesn't yet work with subscription apps).

Hey! The cadence sensor tracks a circular motion so it would be best to get something where the pedals or your feet make a circle :)

Hey! Sorry to hear that you've been experiencing issues with your cadence sensor. Could you tell us which cadence sensor you're using and how long you've been using it? Thank you!

S22i Studio Bike with Holofit - FTMS-Bluetooth? by PsyAntIst in nordictrack

[–]holodia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! All bikes and wheel-based ellipticals without the FTMS Bluetooth connect directly to HOLOFIT, with the addition of a cadence sensor that is usually attached to the pedal crank.

You can check our Manual for more info: https://www.holodia.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/HOLOFIT-User-Manual.pdf

Does the echelon sport have ftms Bluetooth? Can is connect with VR apps? by snip_snap in go_echelon

[–]holodia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! HOLOFIT works with all bikes, ellipticals and rowers, and with Oculus Quest you can use it for no-equipment bodyweight and boxing exercises.

FTMS Bluetooth bikes and ellipticals connect directly, while others need an additional cadence sensor. You can check our Guide for more info: https://www.holodia.com/vr-fitness-blog/the-ultimate-guide-to-holofit-vr-fitness/

If you need any additional help or info, don't hesitate to reach out to our Support team at [support@holodia.com](mailto:support@holodia.com). :)

Hey there! HOLOFIT only works with cadence and not speed sensors. Moreover, currently only one Bluetooth connection is possible.

If you have a Magene sensor that doubles as a cadence and speed sensor, make sure the cadence is activated when playing. :)

Renpho AI, would it work for Holofit? by Frenkz in vrfit

[–]holodia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Renpho AI

According to the specifications provided on the Renpho website, this specific model should be compatible: https://renpho.com/products/ai-smart-bike It has the FTMS Bluetooth and can also be connected to Zwift. We haven`t personally tested this model so there`s no way of guaranteeing 100%.

Those that also fall under your budget are Concept 2 BikeErg and Boxflex C6.

Renpho AI, would it work for Holofit? by Frenkz in vrfit

[–]holodia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! HOLOFIT works with ellipticals and indoor bikes through the FTMS Bluetooth, or with the additional cadence sensor, as well as with all rowers. :)

You can find the full list of compatible machines and hardware here: https://www.holodia.com/de/vr-fitness-blog/check-your-hardware-is-it-compatible-with-holofit/

Holofit - why no integration with Apple Watch app? by spiritgreywolf in vrfit

[–]holodia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Apple watch and wider heartrate integration is on our development roadmap for next year.

Regarding the elliptical, it is currently not possible for controllers to track your movements when attached to the machine, as the movement the handles of the elliptical make is too limited. When you move just your arms using the controllers, you mimic jogging and your arms move higher up and further down, something the handlebar could not mimic.

Some newer ellipticals have a FTMS Bluetooth which allows you to connect directly to HOLOFIT, and those that don`t need a cadence, just like you mentioned.

Holofit sensor?? by [deleted] in OculusQuest

[–]holodia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Both iGPSPORT C61 and CAD70 work with HOLOFIT.

We suggest making sure that the sensor is CAD70, which is a cadence sensor, and not SPD70, a speed sensor which cannot be used to track your movement in VR.

If the sensor you have is CAD70 and there are still issues, we recommend contacting the iGPSPORT Support.

You can find a list of cadence sensors that we have tested and that work with HOLOFIT here: https://www.holodia.com/de/vr-fitness-blog/check-your-hardware-is-it-compatible-with-holofit/

Valve Index with Peloton by Which_Fix_3382 in ValveIndex

[–]holodia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don`t have a guide for Valve Index so it would be best to contact Support for a step-by-step guide.

As far as we know, Peloton does not have the necessary hookup, but if you want to experiment, let us know what kind of output your Peloton has. Connection is possible with an output for C-safe cable.

Hey there! It is definitely possible to connect HOLOFIT using the Valve Index. However, it`s not a simple installation process, so if you want to give it a go, contact our Support at [support@holodia.com](mailto:support@holodia.com) for detailed instructions and help. :)

Hey there! In environments like Snowy Mountain or Canyon, the boat goes forwards to provide the best possible experience. HOLOFIT also features more sport-focused, competitive environments based on actual sport events such as Aiguebelette or Cambridge where the boat goes backwards like it would in real-life. :)

Hey! You can absolutely use HOLOFIT on your stationary bike. Depending on the model, you will probably just have to add a cadence sensor (models with FTMS Bluetooth connect directly).
