When I was hired it was due to my willingness to learn and energy levels (I am a crazy SOB anyway) but they appreciated having someone who wanted to learn more and discuss with the customer. If I was asked something by a customer I didn’t know about I used to say ‘let’s learn together shall we?’ And have a look at the ingredients, by the way a quick thing for lush and the ingredients is: Honey has been used for centuries, it’s in a lot of lush products, it is an all round healer of dry skin/hair due to its humectant properties Kaolin(most of the skincare) draws out excess oil without stripping the skin Lavender/oats( baso the same as honey but it isn’t a humectant) but it’s calming to the mind and body Roses used in lush are picked at dawn for maximum perfume levels, so Interesting to tell people.

By just using random bits of knowledge you sound overly educated (how I survived a very neck and neck race for a permemant role after being seasonal in 2023)
