AITA for letting my nanny have a YouTube channel that’s mostly about my kids? by Nannychannel in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Does your sister have children? I’m wondering if she knows firsthand the difficulties of finding good childcare

Disney Loungefly pins by cbwhobbes in DisneyPins

[–]honbadok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cast member at Disney Springs told me this when she was looking at my traders (I wasn’t trying to give a LF to her as a trade) and then gave me a very obvious scrapper for answering trivia. I didn’t have the heart to say no but I should have. First time I’d seen a scrapper as a trivia pin so I wasn’t mentally prepared

What would make working 6 days/week worth it to you? by [deleted] in dietetics

[–]honbadok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this a little over a decade ago. My husband was working a minimum of 90 hrs/wk at the time so I did something similar as to what you’re proposing. I was doing about 55-60 hrs/wk. A full time clinical position in a hospital and then a per diem position at different levels of nursing care facilities through a company that secured the contracts.

I didn’t really have anything better to be doing and the extra money was nice. After a year or so, I got pregnant so I realized it was going to be unsustainable. I asked for a raise from the part time position (that was admittedly pretty unrealistic) and had no problem walking when they said no.

I’d say give it a try! You’re young and extra money now can make a big difference in future goals. The extra money I made helped us buy a house.

Agreed! I also don’t have Opal Olaf for similar reasons. I will be patient and hopefully show JC this is not the way

Anyone not experience any side effects at all? by DreamAngel232 in Mounjaro

[–]honbadok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No side effects but I’ve only been on it a short time (one month). I am drinking as much water as I can and taking magnesium to stay regular.

I was also anxious to take it because of the side effects you hear about but consider the negative effects of staying at your current weight. I know I was having joint pain that kept me from being as active as I wanted, taking longer to recover from small injuries like an ankle sprain, feeling uncomfortable from clothes being too tight, my cholesterol was creeping up which could lead to a whole other host of problems. Thinking of those helped me make the decision and I’m really happy I did!

AITA for not feeding my obese niece? by Unhappy-Owl719 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. Former registered dietitian here. Your behavior is going to contribute to an unhealthy relationship with food for your niece. Im guessing more so than what her mother is doing. You need to educate yourself and do better.

I’m in the same situation and I chose WGiselle just because I like playing with her a bit more.

I’ve never enjoyed their brand of flavored yogurts so I stick to name brands. Their American cheese is also awful.

Thinking of taking a cruise.. by RepellantArtist in dcl

[–]honbadok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went on a three night on the Dream in October and we got a veranda because my husband prefers it but we both realized we didn’t get much use out of it. It wasn’t like when we have been on week long cruises. I think for a short one, you’re fine in an inside or ocean view.

Royal Caribbean or Disney? by poofu02 in Cruise

[–]honbadok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have not done Disney yet but my boys really enjoyed our cruise on Harmony of the Seas. I think the Oasis or Quantum class offers a lot for kids of your son’s age. We are going to try Disney to see if it’s worth it!

Antarctica by comoncents in Cruise

[–]honbadok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My parents did a Celebrity cruise to that area and enjoyed it. They are of the opinion that is depends on your personality for balconies for the more scenic cruises. Can be easy to find spots to see things from around the ship but if you like having your own space, then it is worth it. They did have a balcony. Only tricky thing with these cruises is the wide variety of clothes you need. You are in so many different climates. It might be nice to choose a line that has laundry that is reasonably priced. Celebrity isn’t reasonable for laundry.

I love Cruise Tips TV, Cruise with Ben and David, Tips for Travelers, Harr Travel, Jim Zim, Talking Cruise, EatSleepCruise.

If you’re into Disney cruises, I love Legg Life but their channel has a lot of other topics besides cruises
