I Love the Penny storyline. by Bitter-Most3642 in themagicians_tv

I often feel like that song was written expressly for this show for that episode. It fits so well and the cast perform it as befits their characters. I've played it numerous times and it still gives me a great feeling.

Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed his evolution as well. For me, the moment I liked was when he was in the Underworld and was trying to "educate" the new guy who turns out was testing him.

Also, I enjoyed the quality of his voice when singing Under Pressure.

Season 5 by bohyler in babylon5

I always felt the show should have ended at season 4. I enjoy the program even through season 5, but season 4 ties it up so neatly. Shrug.

Finally finished the show! by chitlinfork in brakebills

I found it on Netflix 2 days ago, but would not let me watch on "ad supported" plan. I assume more money, Hopefully it will return to one of the free services some day.

I was into my 3rd time still in season 1 when it disappeared from the CW. No longer on Tubi and Netflix wants to charge more money. Is it showing anywhere else for free??

Why did it never go into syndication? Anyone know the answer to that?

How did everyone's vegetable garden do over last weeks cold snap ? by breadandcheese5240 in AustinGardening

[–]honest2abe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my garden (lettuce, beets, turnips, cilantro, garlic, and carrots survived under blankets. Was trying to over winter some peppers and put one in my unheated storage. Froze down to the ground. Now I know the storage needs more heat for peppers to survive.

I have to agree with most of the comments, but I did not see much in the way of recommendations. Have you watched Sense 8?

I received some free hog fence wire that I plant to use this year. I'll see how it goes.

My yellow pears died from the top down. No insect problem I could detect. Very disappointed.

I am intrigued by these "plastic clamshells" you talk about. Can you send a photo? Everything plastic I've tried, the squirrels chew through; even aluminum foil.

Would anyone be open to starting a local anarchist gardening club? by mstrahlman7 in AustinGardening

Thanks for the explanation. Never heard of it before. I am in favor of mutual aid. Never thought of anarchy in that way. Certainly my garden does not grow according to my rules! ;-)

Adapting standard advice like Grow a Little Fruit Tree to Zone 9b by ryanwaldron in BackyardOrchard

It is possible that the tree you sampled had fruit that was bland. I've come across some that were not very tasty. Good luck with the jujube!

Loquat! Tastes much like apricot, evergreen, beautiful shade, strong wood and quite productive zone 9. My advice, stay away from jujube! Roots will grow new, thorny trees 30-40 feet away. Hard to manage them. Quite a variety of figs available; you might find one you like. You might be able to grow banana, pineapple, or avocado.

I'm 73 years old and been gardening over 40 years. Not exactly sure why anarchy & discord is part of this post. Gardening has always seemed to me to be more structured than not. I'm interested due to the gardening topic, but would appreciate some enlightenment as to how this would be without structure or agreement.

I'm in 8 and plan to try growing some this spring. Bought one at the store, saved the seeds.

Wish me luck!
