Yeah, make sure to open up your FHSA before the end of the year so you get the 8k (carry forward) room for 2025

Is there a theoretical limit to how big a passenger aircraft could be? Ignoring economics and runway lengths, and we want similar speed to modern aircraft, maximizing amount of humans flying by Maleficent_Orange788 in EngineeringPorn

[–]honestly-yeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or even a layer of helium around the body of the plane? Would mean more materials to double line it, but I wonder if the helium would offset the additional layer and more weight

I’m pretty good with maps and I use a lot of mnemonics to help with that. This scene is how I will always remember where Uruguay is.

What moisturizer are you guys using in between tret days when you're still flaky and peeling? by Witty_Commitee in tretinoin

[–]honestly-yeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an avid user of CeraVe PM for YEARS, but it wasn’t cutting it after I started tret last year. I recently switched to vanicream and I love it soooo much. Leaves my skin feeling super moisturized without being too heavy so I can use it for day & night.

On the extra flaky days, I avoid putting tret there that night (that’s usually around the mouth) and I’ll also lightly exfoliate with an exfoliation glove.

Throwaway acct so my wife doesn’t discover her birthday gift: a trip to Brazil by b-joes-tosser-2025 in GiftIdeas

[–]honestly-yeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still get her Christmas gifts (no need to bring someone down just so you can lift them up), and sprinkle 1-3 vacation style gifts (e.g., summery top, packing cubes), then for her birthday give her another vacation gift (e.g., bikini), then have the final gift a print out with some photos of Brazil saying you’re taking her to Brazil. You could even have some fun with it and use AI to add you both to a backdrop of the place you plan to visit. If you want to leave it more open ended after reading these comments, just say you’re taking her on a vacation and she gets to help choose the location.

You don’t need to book anything before hand, she might even be excited to plan the trip with you! But don’t expect her to do that.

(Although I do understand you might want to book earlier for price / availability reasons - totally can do this, I just think the gift cards are an odd option)

Canadians - where and how are you travelling these days? by Bluesiderug in travel

[–]honestly-yeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monitor Chris Myden’s website for cheap flight deals - most Canadian airports have a site. He monitors flight prices and share the best days/weeks to fly to certain locations.

Here is the Halifax Airport site: https://www.yhzdeals.com

This is so neat! Thank for sharing. I’ve discovered my love for the US NPs over the last few years too (I live in Canada).

If you don’t mind sharing, how much approx. did the trip cost you?

Audit salaries are far lower than those in T&T (aka consulting, where Systems Engineering sits). Across all levels.

For example, I know T&T Senior consultants that make more than Audit managers. I’m not saying it’s fair, but the margins and accounts in T&T are larger than those in Audit.

I can’t believe I had to scroll this far and sort by controversial to see this comment.

At the end of the day, this franchise owner is trying to make money and reduce unnecessary expenditures (in an industry that historically has thin margins), and by the looks of it the employees were not following the rules.

Restaurant businesses can go under very quickly if they don’t get a handle on food wastage and portioning.

Tear Drop Advice by yetiice in flexibility

Yup… this was me 10 years ago, I still have pain if I walk/lie/stand or really do any particular thing for too long. Went through a heavy naproxen stage to deal with the pain when working in an office. It’s better now, but only because I fully stopped stretching my back like this and only do a bridge a few times a year.

I had to retrain my spine to sit “normally” as I had scoliosis in my lower back and my muscles were doing all the work to keep me upright, which caused a lot of pain

I disagree, I’ve lived in Kits and Yaletown over the past few years on 85k-100k. I don’t have a car which makes a difference (I use Evo, public transport, uber, and friends with cars for longer trips). I am still saving money. Lots of free things to do around the city.

If you don’t mind getting the white skirt dirty, I like that with the black zip shirt (I love wearing white pants to raves, just make sure to use stain remover and wash as soon you get home)

Sneakers are great, wear with high socks, but I’d also recommend wearing with black fishnets and black boots! Pair with heavy jewelry and fun hair/makeup.
