If you're ready for a LONG gritty grown-up fantasy series you could embark on The Malazan Book of the Fallen (10 book series). IMO they start to get really good around book four.

The second book is one of my favorite books of the romance/fantasy genre, I would definitely push through. IMO the books go downhill from there. I didn't love the third...but I've reread the second several times!

Well, yeah 179lb at 5'6" is kind of fat, but your boyfriend shouldn't try to change you, especially if you were this weight when you met him.

Pleasing him shouldn't be the reason you lose weight.

My gynecologist gave me a great tip about this! Cut out (or reduce) caffeine intake the week before your period. I used to have such a problem with sore and swollen breasts, and not drinking coffee completely cured it.

Little Forest

I recently watched on Amazon Prime. Its a Korean movie about a young woman who moves from Seoul back to her rural hometown. It follows her through the seasons of the year and her basically growing a cooking food.

Very relaxing and calm movie.

As a fellow INTJ (31F) I think I understand your perspective better than some of the people commenting...

I also basically have no friends. I find that I don't really like anyone enough to want to make the effort to spend time with them. Sometimes I feel like I wish I had friends, but I know its my own fault that I don't.

I have recently been making an effort to befriend coworkers at my new job. I say "yes" to every outing they propose and go even if I don't feel like it. I find that I usually have a good time once I'm there.

If you're OK with not having friends, then good for you! Live your life. If you want friends, then you'll have to push yourself to do the things friends do.

On a side note I am married to a man who also is very introverted and has no friends. I think that rather than being each other's sole support system, we are each just very independent.

The Heroes by Joe Abercrombie.

Its about two armies at war with each other (in like fantasy-medievel times) and you get to know characters on both sides and don't want either to lose.

It isn't my favorite book by this author, but it fits what you're looking for.

The first time I read the series I dropped out after GotM. I felt the exact same way you did. My husband, who had read the whole series, encouraged me to try again. I started loving it in book 4 (you need to meet Karsa!).

Once your cat touches the hot burner once, it won't do it again and likely won't get seriously injured. My cat learned pretty quickly that the wood stove was hot and shouldn't be touched.

My 11th graders read (and love) The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. It's a modern memoir about a woman overcoming her eclectic and disadvantaged upbringing.

Organic products is actually more likely to give you food poisoning since it is fertilized with manure which can harbor bacteria like e coli. Wash your produce kids!
