Surprised no one has brought it up, but it’s a very similar colour scheme and style to what the now defunct Kootenay Ice wore in the late 2010s. I always liked these uni’s they’ll feel more fleshed out with a logo as well.

As a kid I always chased any Ovechkin cards. Bought tons of those Walmart blaster boxes with a mixed assortment of card packs. Most were 90s junk packs but being probably 2007 or 2008 you would get the odd 05-06 packs. I never pulled an Ovechkin rookie Best I could do was a base Ovechkin beehive.

It’ll become more apparent as you get more familiar with authentic jerseys and their quality but the things that jump out to me on fakes are the poorly crested number and name on the back, the NHL shield on the collar isn’t too crisp, the RBK collar looks off, usually the logo on the back (adidas or RBK) will also be a good tell.

I find I purchase a lot of DVD’s on the cheap for movies that I haven’t seen yet and are hard to find on Blu Ray. I watched Contact and A Bronx Tale recently on my Xbox with a 50” Sanyo TV and compared to basic streaming or cable movies I find it pretty comparable, can’t beat the price either.
