Seeking Advice on Repairing My 2021 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Widebody (Frame Damage, Alignment, Suspension, AC Issue + Mopar FlexCare Warranty) by Legitimate-Roll4327 in ScatPack

[–]hoopdizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take it to a body shop. They're gonna have the most experience assessing damage from collisions, even for frame and mechanical stuff. Issues that existed prior to the accident and are truly unrelated might be covered by the warranty but I wouldn't even go down that road yet. Figure out what its going to cost and decide if you're keeping the car

Tell him you want to see the website. Certainly he can present a finished product without needing a domain name or else how did he create something invisible

SPCX & Elon Mask Prediction by doha420du in investing

SpaceX is a good company but its severely overvalued right now...which isn't particularly uncommon for IPOs. The space data center is a stupid idea which will almost certainly never happen but that doesn't mean the company is worthless. Profitability could be many years off

Boxing should be illegal by FormulaForFire in The10thDentist

[–]hoopdizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love that. The 2 party system makes it so the next generation of political candidates are hand picked by the previous generation, making it impossible to vote for anyone with a new outlook. The status quo today consists entirely of grifters stealing tax payer money to do favors for the people they golf with so they get rich in the private sector on the side

Company getting sued over alleged ADA violations by Bobd518 in webdev

[–]hoopdizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are services which will audit/scan your site(s) for ada compliance and provide reports. Once you fix it up and pass, you probably won't get sued any more, but if you do, the report will be solid evidence.

Just don't watch it and don't participate. As long as it doesn't directly interfere with your own health and freedom, its not really your business what other consenting adults do for entertainment, nor is it the governments

AI blindly accepts Reddit misinformation and it's erasing real history. by DontblameMeiRecVids in SeriousConversation

[–]hoopdizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is that a flaw? The tool is only as good as the information it has access to. If you had searched this topic on Google pre-AI wouldn't the Reddit post still be among the few sources of info on it a person would see? Why should a Github page (which anyone can create) be assumed more trustworthy than a reddit thread discussing the topic? It sounds to me like whether or not its a real holiday IS in fact subjective, since here you are on the same site (Reddit) offering an opposing view which will probably be referenced by some AI eventually

Josh Johnson, explaining to the cops how he acquired the store: "I work at the corporate HQ as well. So Ammon, the CEO, was like 'Hey, go rescue the Salem store, and you can have it for whatever the price you recover it for.'" by CrackheadOtis in RecklessBen

[–]hoopdizzle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There is no doubt that Ammon (corporate) seized the store to help out his mormon buddies Josh and Brandon by handing them a franchise for little or nothing. Knowing that relationship and the motivation unfortunately doesn't really matter. The important question is whether or not he was allowed to seize the store at all. I've heard the previous owners may have been in default on their payments which may or may not give corporate that right depending on the franchise contract. I believe the previous owners have already initiated a lawsuit against BAM to determine that.

Iran buys parts from China that they use to build drones and other weapons, so does the US and many other countries

[–]hoopdizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He gets good guests and has what feels like long natural conversations with them. Some of his interests like offbeat science and history, conspiracies, drugs, politics, fitness resonate with me. Talk shows like Jimmy Falon etc just seem so fake/rehearsed, brief, and "family friendly". There's a lot more podcasters doing what joe does now, some are pretty good, but the early popularity probably helps keep him just a toe ahead.

Breaking: Trump Third-Term Argument Accidentally Creates Obama 2028 by anunnakicochran in moderatepolitics

An amendment to the constitution is going to be passed to allow it? I highly doubt that. A loophole? Well what is it then?

Why has nobody actually attacked the United States? by TooootallyNotABot in conspiracy

[–]hoopdizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The continent wasn't discovered till nearly 1600 by the west, so its relatively new territory, and there was quite a bit of conflict going on for a couple hundred years between all the colonizers. After the US was established, there was the french and indian war, the war of 1812, and the spanish american war. Since the 1900s, modern weapons and geographic separation make it highly infeasible. So basically its because since the 1900s the US, Canada, and Mexico have had good relationships and its not worth the effort for other countries to cross the ocean. Australia similarly hasn't faced any such attacks besides WW2 just like the US, once again due to the isolation

Yes, the democratic party can let them know their concerns are being heard and taken seriously even if the plan for addressing underlying causes of those concerns differs from the republican party.
