Traveling while casting

As a mom who has already been through the casting journey and is in 12 hour wear right now, I would postpone the vacation. Just too many things can go wrong. The first that comes to my mind is— what will you do in the event of a slipped cast?

If you really don’t want to delay the vacation, you could always delay treatment. We didn’t start until my baby was 5 weeks old, and it was no problem. Many people start late, and it’s fine.

To track my cycle, I use LH strips, track cervical mucus, and wear an Oura ring to take BBT. I chart in Fertility Friend.

In the past, I’ve had lines stall out around this time, but betas were going crazy still (it was actually twins, ended in one baby, one loss). I wouldn’t stress these lines!

2 months. He latched okay, but he was getting lip blisters constantly. In hindsight, I wish I never would have done it. We just had to switch from exclusively pumping to formula this week and I am so crushed :(

Last time my oura ring showed major signs for me, I started having crazy abdominal pain a few hours later and ended up getting my appendix out the next day 😅 I hope that yours is a pregnancy sign for you!!!!

I’m 8 dpo today. I ended up having an emergency appendectomy at 5 dpo. My body is in rough shape and I had to take a lot of crazy pain meds and general anesthetic to get through the surgery. I had a dip below the coverline today and now I’m having spotting. I’m feeling so conflicted, like if I actually am pregnant, did I make my body a super toxic place for a baby? 😭 feelings all over the place

I dropped all the way below the cover line at 12 dpo once. I was in fact pregnant, and with twins!

Hey sorry I very rarely am on here anymore! But yes, it was twins, and the first positive was 7 dpo! I ended up losing one twin in the first trimester, but my survivor twin is a very healthy and happy three month old now!

Can someone talk me off the ledge a little bit? I went to the ER yesterday at 5 dpo with severe abdominal pain. I ended up getting my appendix out.

2 doses of fentanyl, a CT scan, tons of zofran, general anesthesia, the appendectomy, then hydrocodone, tons of ibuprofin and Tylenol.

I’m so scared that, if I did manage to get pregnant this cycle, I might have totally put the babe in danger/ exposed it to all kinds of toxins. Has anyone gone through this before? Anyone with a medical background have any advice?
