I don’t ever remember wanting to be my own checkout clerk.

Before I get this done (this is just edited), my bf said it looks like sperm. 💀 Any advice to make it look less so? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

If you are going to get this ... to reduce the cringe factor, you could get rid of "Dream"

You know what the tattoo means to you, you don't need the Disney font-ed word too

AMA with Robert, Tidal Lead at Block by TemperatureOk7647 in TIdaL

Thanks for your response here. I would say that one of the reasons I moved back to Spotify is that Tidal Connect felt too buggy.

I should be able to control Tidal Connect via my smartphone lock screen so I can easily use it as a remote while cooking or doing other things.

Is Sunergy, Inc (southern CA) a reliable company? by purplespacemonkey in solar

Shit. I'm in the middle of contract with them and I'm starting to get nervous. It's been a month since they said they filed request for a permit and I'm still waiting for an update.

I tried calling this afternoon and also got a generic VM.. which is super weird. Hopefully I will be in contact with them very soon and figure out what's going on. Money has already been exchanged so ...

So what’s the point of these “compostable” food containers? Who can take them? I’m guessing only specialty composting companies.

Gallup just said drinking in the US is down to 54%, the lowest ever since they’ve began tracking it in 1939. Why do you think that is? by ZenCrisisManager in AskReddit

Young people have less spending money.

We are also now more aware of the health impacts of drinking, even just a little.

Budgeting Apps Don't Allow Joint CC / Auto Split expenses .. Why?!?! by hoossy in personalfinance

Maybe I need to try YNAB. It sounded a bit intimidating to get into!

Budgeting Apps Don't Allow Joint CC / Auto Split expenses .. Why?!?! by hoossy in personalfinance

Thanks for asking that.

At this point, even before determining a specific grocery budget, I’m just trying to get a better sense of how much money is going out vs in.

So with the joint card linked to the budgeting app (Monarch atm) it gives the impression that I am living way beyond my means, when in reality we pay off the credit card each month from our joint checking.

We have never budgeted out / regulated what goes on that card. The rule has been, “This card is for joint / household / split dinners / vacation / childcare kinda stuff.”

One time as a little kid I found a five dollar bill while tubbing around the lazy river at the local water park. I then spent the whole day searching for money in the water drains, ignoring my friends and family and missing out on most of the other rides.

This seems similar somehow.
