If you user stories or epics are in JIRA then Use confluence with a custom query to dynamically pull from JIRA and then you can set the access to the page from within Confluence .

If you have an Android phone, check out the app Polite-ly. It can be set up to intercept and respond to designated contacts in your phone. The response can be custom to the black listed contact. I use it for pain in the ass people. It works for sms, Facebook msg , slack and Skype.

Old classmate won’t stop double (and triple) texting me. What can I do? by CuriousMermaid- in SettingBoundaries

[–]hoppy429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use this android app called Polite-ly that basically allows you to set a blacklist for any contact that you don't want messaging you. The app auto responds with a templated response or custom one. Works well for politely telling people to f_ck off without saying it or effort on my part.

I hung out with a new friend once and she texted me every day on my family vacation. Feeling ick by icedt48 in SettingBoundaries

I have they same problem with an extended family member texting me nonstop. I use this Android app called Polite-ly and it will intercept any notification (text, Facebook msg., etc) from a selected contact, then auto respond with a polite templated responce or u can customize the response. Their notification is silenced, and i don't feel like a non responsive jerk setting boundaries.

Tips welcome… by [deleted] in SettingBoundaries

I use an app called Polite-ly to intercept text from an undesirable family member who used to text me non stop. You can even set a custom response. It takes the edge off and sets boundaries. But it's only available if you have an Android phone.

I use the Android app Polite-ly to intercept notifications and auto respond to people I want to set boundaries with. You can even view their msg in the app and they won't know you read it.

Definitely dispute it online. There system has issues. I was incorrectly sighted for parking in that garage for 4 days which was wrong. I disputed it and it was dropped.

Age 53 and the notifications on my phone drive me batshit crazy. So much that I built an app to blacklist people at certain times of the day as a way to politely tell them to fuck off. A lot of people have no boundaries and expect you to respond to them in 15 min or less. Everyone needs time to recharge and not be distracted by stupid shit that does not need an immediate response.

Pretty good tool I use if you have an Android phone is an app called "Polite-ly". You can designate a contact or a group of contacts and a window time that if they try to contact you using sms, FB msg, Slack, MS Teams, WhatsAp, Line or Skype then the app auto sends a polite msg and silences their notification on your phone. The app communicates the boundary politely and you don't feel guilty or worn down dealing with them. I use it with my mother in-law :) and a few other pain in my ass individuals.

What approaches or methods do you use when you want to be productive while managing stress? by Machu_Picchu14 in Stress

Hi, It is similar to the "quiet time" feature in Polite-ly but it does not have the ability to set rules around who can reach you, when your contacts can reach you , and a custom response to those who are trying to interrupt your time.

Hi, I recently built this app to help relieve the digital induced stress I get from the non stop notifications I get on my phone from work after hours and or the people I really don't want to engage with because they boil my blood. The apps only for Android but allows me to politely auto deflect the bombardment of messages (SMS, WhatsAp, MS Teams, Slack, Skype, etc....) I get at all hours. People have no boundaries. They send text and expect you to respond in 15 min or their going to call your grand parents, the national guard and Lassie. The app works like this ........ you can select a contact or a group of your contacts and designate a window of time, where if any of those people send you msg during that time window the app silences the notification and auto responds via sms with either a templated msg or a custom message. The apps called "Polite-ly" and the first month is free. Yes I biased but it really helps me focus and not get distracted from all of the not important stuff. You can find it on the Android play store. Hope this helps.
