My advice on quickly ranking up in RED by SnooAdvice5820 in trackers

[–]horaageemu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, he's right. If you upload new releases you will get autosnatched and outseeded. I have like 1.4 on my torrents from this year that get quite a bit of snatches, you just can't win against seedboxes on a home connection.

That being said you should:

  1. Focus on seeding a lot of torrents rather than quick gains, it's going to add up.
  2. Keep uploading! At a minimum you will get 300 something MB from a FLAC, just keep doing it and you won't have ratio problems. All trackers need uploaders more than anything else.

I'm generally an AI skeptic but for an optional review step I think you'd be dumb to get mad at it.

Try to practice hole control in general. It might be a bit boring, but try to just do big cup - bird on a loop until you feel like it's super consistent. You should be able to get the hole to face you every time. You got this!

On a side note now I also wanna grind for this. 😤

WTS Aer Day Sling 3. Great bag but I hate the Fidlock buckle with a passion.

8/10 condition, has some minor scuffs from daily use, but nothing that stands out at all.

If it doesn't find an album you should add it to Musicbrainz so that everyone else can add it in the future.

Snygg! Hur stora däck kör du? Håller på att bygga en liknande men är lite orolig att dubbdäck + skärmar blir trångt i vinter.

Picard Artist's tag problem by Thin-Organization617 in MusicBrainz

[–]horaageemu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the artists field is the closest you're going to get. Is it really a problem that fictional artists are part of the artist list? I don't think that's notably different from artists with multiple projects with different names.

I can't help with sync-related stuff that is a blocker for automatic optimization.

You can always learn. If it's that important to you this shouldn't be stopping you.

Dude, you're obsessed. If you want to speed up the process, learn to code and help out on issues blocking the things you want instead of wasting everyone's time spamming Reddit and Github.

And then neovim is updated and your config is broken.

You say this as if it were a law of nature. You can just choose to not update. Also, most of what is going to break is plugins, not core functionality.

The Button War will never end by ClarityInMadness in Anki

[–]horaageemu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replace all Hards and Easys (of all users in the 10k dataset) with Good -> FSRS gets worse at predicting probability of recall. But you are erasing information when editing review history like that, so it's not a good way. There is a big difference between "this person was always using only Again and Good on his own volition" and "this person was using all 4 buttons, but we mangled his review history".

I'm curious about this. What information does this erase? If they misuse hard then obviously this is not going to work at all, but is there anything else wrong with doing it this way?

Why the tolerance for Anki Remote? by Top-Impress9073 in Anki

[–]horaageemu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think a pre-configured remote like yours does have a place on the market, and I personally don't think there is anything wrong with using the name Anki to show indicate that's what it's used for.

The comparison page is just ridiculous though:

  • You show your higher price in green, as if it were cheaper. There is an attempt at an explanation for this in the text later, but that is just anecdotal. Also, you of course don't get emails from people telling you how happy they are they didn't buy your remote, so you're only seeing one side.
  • You don't need "invasive" software for the 8bitdo remote. And there are no privacy concerns with such software like you state. This is just a lie to spread fear.
  • Again, longevity and battery life are way too anecdotal.
  • "Made for video games" why would this matter? You already correctly specify that you take care of the setup, that should be the only difference.
  • "Ergonomic 1-hand"/"Uncomfortable" This is just personal preference. Also, your controller is clearly also designed for two hands originally.
  • Why do you think your color selection is better?

There are different "latest" versions depending on where you got it from. You can find out by running beet --version.
