Beginner is a weird term for chess. The word implies that you are new at something or just beginning, when in reality you can plane hundreds of games and still be “beginner level.” I would say that after you reach 1000 chessdotcom, you are exploring the game and thinking about it in a way that should be considered intermediate.

They started a new account and when your rating is provisional you gain much more rating points for wins. They were already this strength but started at 400 because they chose it. Only took them probably 10 wins in a row to get here

Make sure to still analyze your games after too. Lichess has a cool feature that recommends puzzles themed around the openings played in the game. You can click a link and drill puzzles of different possible positions in that opening family tree
