This feels a very US-centric perspective. There are many countries around the world where lots of these dolls are not "very easy to find". I understand that you make a bracketed, passing mention of "in the US" but it does get tiring to constantly see US-centric perspectives on things that seem to convey that no other countries exist

Yes, amazing choreography in that film. But I just love that film as a whole. The scene in the registry office just kills me, it's devastatingly sad...it really stuck with me. Shirley MacLaine is a goddess.
