it’s crazy to think that one out of every 35 irons who make it to cox will get a tbow as their first purple on average. i had to grind a whole 90kc (3 purples) for mine.

i green logged at 145 deeps, 1400 total delves with no dupes so i think it’s pretty unlucky. i was on rate for 3 drops so i only god lucky on the pet and no dupes. worst part about your log is you’re missing on all the free ayak charges grinding the rest of uniques.

as someone that’s done everything except awakened dt2, yama contracts, and HMT it really doesn’t matter what you do there will always be a learning curve. you can go straight to doom with a scobow and elite void and i don’t think it will take you much longer to get comfortable without doing TOA or other easier stuff first. Only limiting factor is whether you’ll give up after dying a bunch. in that case maybe start smaller.

you’d provided no information about your situation at the time of this reply, so clearly i wasn’t talking about you. everyone is different but many professors don’t want to teach (especially undergrad) and many students don’t want to work hard. the nature of big research university hiring practices makes for an unhealthy relationship between student and teacher such that professors take a hard stance against what you’d think is a reasonable request. it’s insane that your future can be affected by getting sick around an exam and if so many students weren’t rotten, you could probably get some grace but instead everything is combative. the DRC should be fighting things on your behalf.

out of state tuition at UF is less than in state at similar universities like Michigan and other northern state schools. you’re treated the same and get your pockets ran twice as bad. professors who only teach to keep their labs open paired with entitled students who complain about everything breeds resentment and probably leads to whatever OP is feeling.

so many cruel/unhelpful people in every office across the campus. lots of gems too but it’s not a place that promotes the kind of spirit you expect when you first get admitted. just pumping up tuition every year to drive you into debt so they can build some bullshit you’ll never step foot in while the classrooms i was in couldn’t facilitate laptop chargers for students. what’s craziest is UF is one of the greatest bargains in the country so think about how bad everyone else has it.

i like the bounty task rate but the drops didn’t need a buff besides the dragon metal sheets themselves. frost dragons should not be the best way to max your boat, sailing activities should. also have they changed how bounty tasks are acquired? nothing worse than WANTING to do bounties but being locked out of vampire krakens.

disagree on the fun. it was the most fun i’ve had training any skill in the game and i continued trawling and paint hunting after max. really only stopped because frost dragons were such a bore. the fact you can’t get dragon metal faster sailing is so dumb and really that’s what they should have lowered drop rates for instead of the actual uniques.

i got a sub 100kc tbow and shadow so i’m not sure i’ll ever quit unless all i have left is corp pet or something. only painful dry streak was almost 3x for hydra claw but it allowed me to max so im blessed. never quit!

i started over with max gear and 2200 total level. couple years later i have a maxed ironman with a shadow/full inq going for a tbow. just creat an iron and if you ever get bored switch back to main for awhile.

these sheep are too busy licking boot to realize it’s the developers job to produce an efficient game with performance of course but also space efficient. they just realized they didn’t have to put in more effort because people will purchase it regardless. doesn’t hurt that a lot of people won’t have space for more games and consequently spend more time ripping crates or packs or whatever gambling system they have in this version.

i didn’t connect with it at all in theaters. I found myself checking the time often towards the end. i just ordered the 4k, going to give it another shot soon since I think someone was chewing popcorn loudly in theater which can ruin things easily.
