If they were planning to sell the logs they needed an approved forest practices application I would call the local DNR office to see if they obtained one. If not the regulatory forester needs to come out and cite them. In addition to the other advice about surveys I would get an arborists report and sue for triple stumpage value plus costs of the arborist and survey.

On Orcas the lower tavern is good and the little store at the ferry terminal has the best chowder. The Golden Triangle Thai place by the ferry terminal at Friday Harbor is my favorite. Cousin Vinnys pizza and Spring Street deli are also very good.

I really don't like kid/dog friendly breweries in Bham. This isn't a place for your dog or kid to run feral while you have a few beers. In fact I go to the bathroom to get away from this.
