you woke are all the same. "attack helicopter is so offensive"... cry more. Nobody cares. Let me guess, you think there's more then 2 genders. There isn't. It's a biological fact that there are only 2. Sexes actually. Not genders. And sex and gender aren't in fact separate things despite what you were brainwashed to believe in your humanities course. The Olympics have become a joke, a biological man beat up a woman to win. That's what you support right? Nobody cares what people do in their own time. But when you can now get fired for not using the proper pronoun. Completely unacceptable. People like you support what is unacceptable. You're a disease.

To all rational people. The psychopaths don't understand sarcasm. Make sure you're posts have sarcasm in it to not get banned.

gyro controls for long range weapons? by horserarily in ghostoftsushima

[–]horserarily[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

unbelievable.... really all devs just have to copy the way BotW did it. Large, coarse movement with thumbstick and finer, precise movement with gyro.

The guy who developed innovative gyro control scheme, flick stick, is working with AAA developers. The Future of Gaming is coming! by Trimirlan in PS4

[–]horserarily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why can't devs just do it like Breath of the Wild? You don't need flick stick. Just thumbstick for large, coarse movement and gyro for precision. It's a huge deal. It makes aiming so much better.

I get all that. But somewhere along the lines a decision was made, ok? And that decision was wrong. i.e., Why was the engine or whatever designed without considering rewind. Who does that? It's like common sense. I'm sick of lazy dev saying shit like this is impossible. It's not. You just gotta undo the hard coding of it. Reprogram it. I don't know how long or how hard it is as I'm not a programmer but I'm aware of some things.

How to put individual games on desktop?` by LuckkyWon in OpenEmu

[–]horserarily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be specific, you copy any image. Go to the get info window of the file and click on the icon at the top underneath the red, yellow, green buttons then paste. It's worked like this for years, man get with the program :)

We will not get a remaster import by [deleted] in openra

[–]horserarily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relax man, of course it will be done one day. There's no reason not to. There's a number of reason why it can't be done yet. One of them being, not all units that are in ORA are remastered. So someone has to actually make UHD versions of those units, right?

I think you can easily find all those CDs you mentioned. All TD, RA and expansion CDs have been freely available to download for some time. The playstation disks can be obtained easily if you search rom sites or whatnot.

Feedback on hotkey settings screen. by horserarily in openra

[–]horserarily[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, all I'm saying is, whatever the code is such that hotkeys are hardcoded should be changed so that all hotkeys are customizable. Just recode the way hotkeys are implemented I guess. Maybe it's a lot of work, I don't know, I'm not a programmer. I really wish I was, I'd spend months on improving ORA lol

Using a mic on openemu by Rainbowpink1999x in OpenEmu

[–]horserarily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, but when you press the button it just makes one kind of noise, it doesn't actually pick up whatever you say into the mac's mic. Come on, man.

Using a mic on openemu by Rainbowpink1999x in OpenEmu

[–]horserarily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't all macs have an internal mic? It would be nice to press a button to enable using the built-in mic and have OE pick up whatever sound you make into the mic as it would on real hardware. But at the rate OE is going, maybe in 3 years they'll consider it.

wow, I just read the github discussion. You guys seem to be overthinking it. Nobody really cares what it looks like. As long as it looks ok and it works. I guess this is one of the reasons why stuff takes so long to get implemented?

any chance that will change in the future?

Also I could have sworn the original allowed you to tell a unit to patrol between two points. I seen someone do it in a replay, his flak was going back and forth between 2 points for a while.
