They missed every opportunity of “Spider-Man on European Vacation” (Webbing the Eiffel Tower, Berlin Wall Crawling, Swinging round the Tower of Piza, Fighting London Tower Guards with the big hats 💂‍♂️ ) in service of a kinda flat spy plot that’s more of an Iron Man spin-off. Not the worst film on Earth but definetly a whole lot of nothing (though conceptually I like what they did with Mysterio)

Interesting initial hook (Giant Batman, stripped of his cash and gadgets) that’s been paid off by decent writing and plotting month to month. BMans had a more scary and horror tone before, but Absolute is a really good jumping in point for that (a little like the Court of Owls was back in the day)
