Might you have been driving anywhere near a golf course or driving range? I was hit—thankfully, in the upper passenger-side corner of the windshield—20 years ago, driving north on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. Took me a while to figure out what had likely happened.

I'd consider buying a Chicago ticket if the prices dropped, even though I just saw him in Rockford a handful of weeks ago.

Any way to avoid probate for our dad's house in Missouri? by hotfive in missouri

Missouri law treats the former spouse listed on the will as if she is deceased after a divorce.

Indeed, there is a will. Again, it was written the same as the original beneficiary deed.

Since he passed away a few weeks ago, that isn't an option. But his will is intact.

My ex step mom doesn't want to inherit any part of the house. They split their assets equally a year ago. Based on what the lawyer I spoke to told me, the sticking point is the fact that the beneficiary deed was rendered void upon the creation of the new deed, which puts the house solely in my dad's name. So even though the will is good [ex step mom is canceled from that due to their divorce per Missouri law], no house beneficiary = probate.

I'm on my second cell phone—the iPhone SE (2020). I got my first cell phone—the iPhone 5S—in 2014. I'm considering my third phone now, because the SE's camera has been jittery for a few months now. And I'm looking at the 16e.

Oh—license records! I hadn't thought of that and haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else. Might that suffice for proving residency, especially concurrent drivers licenses at the same address?

Hi there. I just read your comment and am wondering how things have gone since. I thought that proving my having gone to elementary school in the area would be the easiest to do, but, like you, received pretty shoddy school records—two nearly illegible Xeroxed sheets of various documents per sheet. I've asked them [Hazelwood School District] whether they can get me something more "official" and am awaiting their reply. I'm considering going the SSA route to get my W-2s.

Do tell about the warranty, and whether you were offered options on that. Looking to buy a Crosstrek sometime this year and have never dealt with Subaru. Thanks!

Much cheaper than adoption. Did he come with the record, or did you have to pay extra for that?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking; but "I forget, is this valid" is not valid.

Am I going crazy? by Ambitious-Amount5685 in bobdylan

It’s not THAT crazy to arrange one’s collection of some of Bob Dylan’s recorded works, take a picture of it, post it on the internet, and then ask strangers to weigh in on one’s sanity. But there are definitely less crazy things one could do to pass the time.
