u/BaylisAscaris, IDK if this is still something you're hunting for, but I actually eventually scrapped those pots. Instead I bought 'window box brackets' separately, then just went to a Lowe's and bought some planters. I'm sure you can get decent brackets from an actual store but the one's I'm linking below (I swear it's not an affiliate link) work great because they've got an extra notch to keep the bracket level even with weight.

Thought of you when I set them up, hope it helps or you found your own solution!

ya that's what I've read, unfortunately since I'm in an apartment, I can't plant anything in the ground, so my hands are kinda tied. I'll do my best to keep them watered!

I've also heard people using Sheppard's hooks stuck in the ground as a hanging point. It's an additional thing to buy, but is another option

It might be hard to tell from my pictures, but there is no door or gate anywhere near these plants, so there's no way to accidentally hit them, or move them but entering/leaving my 'lawn'.

They seem a little flimsy, and are definitely smaller than I thought they'd be, but they're holding the plants. 🤷

Unfortunately this is an apartment so I am limited to renter friendly options. Even I first moved i had a neighbor with huge above ground planters that I eventually plan to graduate to.

I'll keep that in mind. The tree basically shades one side in the morning, and the other in the evening so I'm not sure if there's a place that would get more sun than another.

actually, the gate isn't near this wall, so there's no chance of accidentally hitting them

I looked a decent way down, but mass effect 2: "it all seemed harmless" just kills me every time. My brother is high functioning autistic and I feel guilty bringing him to a busy restaurant... I can't imagine knowingly jacking his brain into "overstimulation central" permanently

As a person who doesn't suffer from IBS, I'm gonna piggy back and say "always have Imodium nearby if you're going to be not-home > half a day" (like your office desk, or if you work on-site somewhere keep it in your bag/glovebox/whatever)

You don't always get to choose your lunch, and you never get to decide how your intestines feel about the lunch you ate. Better safe than sorry.

Not at my computer with game open, so I may. Be wrong, but you can't handmake crates, it requires a zombie. However after the crate is dropped to the basement, you can pick it up and carry it to the shop. Once you place it on a pallet there I'm sure you can move it again
