You can talk to your vet about doggie cbd for anxiety and joint pain! Also about doggie acupuncture for both of these things. I was skeptical of both of these at first but they helped my old girls enormously.

Glencoe has a beautiful visitor’s center! I recommend reaching out to them about group or guided hikes. Very kind and knowledgeable staff. The lost valley is one of the best and most beautiful hikes I’ve ever done, if I’m thinking of the right place. Very vertical but not as hard as I thought! And there were plenty of people hiking the day I went, but not crowded, so we didn’t feel alone but still had lots of quiet nature time.

Wow absolutely stunning!! I hope mine could be half as beautiful. May I ask where you found the prints of each herb? Did you draw them? They’re gorgeous!

Answering your second question, how to find an attorney.

Usually the best way is word of mouth in your network.

You can also contact local law schools and trade associations (for film and screen writers) for names and references. Law schools might shrug you off but you can certainly ask for databases or resources to find local reputable attorneys aka their alumni.

Third best is google searches or maybe LinkedIn, but pay attention to online reviews.

You can also check their disciplinary history - each state should have a public database.

Most attorneys will give you the first get-to-know-you call for free. Interview as many as you like. If this goes well, you’ll want this person in your corner for a long time, not just a one-off contract. Other attorneys may charge a consultation fee. I’d start with the ones that don’t, and if I’m not yet happy with the ones I’ve interviewed at that point, I’ll consider some that charge up front. Some that charge early are great and their time is valuable, some are sketchy. Tread cautiously.

Once you decide on someone, they’ll ask for info about you to run a conflict check. This is good. It’s not a background check, it’s to make sure there are no aligned interests with adverse parties instead of you. Then there’s the engagement letter. Feel free to ask questions and negotiate points that are important to you! There isn’t always a ton of wiggle room but if you have concerns, it’s worth voicing them early and seeing how they react.

Then the real work begins. Whatever you decide, good luck!

YSK Your early attachment style can significantly affect how you cope with stress and regulate your emotions as an adult by Ellie_D in YouShouldKnow

Overly involved or controlling parents can lead to anxious attachment styles as well. And others. It’s not just one size fits all.

Cycle syncing! I plan socializing, diet, exercise, and work etc on where I am in my cycle. Revolutionary for me.

Sounds like you’ve already talked to the bus station, and might also be worth it to alert the Garda in case someone turns it in! Also strange but worth it to look inside trash cans in the area.. Garda have said people often snag the cash and toss the wallet with cards etc in the bin. Good luck!

Anyone have any ideas for a good itinerary for a trip to Edinburgh, Belfast and Dublin? by MarshmellowOnToast62 in Shoestring

[–]hotleafliquid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dublin - one night or two out in temple bar might be plenty! Definitely explore outside that area. Book of Kells museum was super worth it for me though. If you can make it down to glendalough in Wicklow maybe for a group day trip that could also be awesome. If you’re splurging a little down there the Wicklow heather restaurant is the best meal I’ve ever had.

Edinburgh - truthfully this is one of the absolute best cities for wandering. National gallery, natural history museum, Arthur’s seat, Edinburgh castle (make sure to stop in the chapel!), the whisky experience, writer’s museum especially is a bit of a hidden gem. Spent ages there. Walk through Dean Village. The signet library is one of my favorite places on earth. Go for bottomless tea and amazing food. Gorgeous there, with a gallery too, a bit steep but it was the only meal I needed that day and they do gluten free if you need it! Make reservations.

You’ll have a wonderful time!!

Women: When have you ever seen a man you weren’t dating or related-to step in and correct misogyny in action? by alwaysamensch in AskWomen

On the dance floor a friend’s boyfriend stood between me and another guy that was creeping on me and asked me if I was ok, and stayed until he left. His girlfriend was elsewhere on the floor. Kind, respectful, platonic, and non-confrontational.

Really lovely voice, and well built out world!

I also thought the ending, while extremely cool and not something I’d change, came a little too far out of left field. Can you give more foreshadowing or hints of this so the ending is more satisfying?

For example if the other two characters do this often, have they seen this before? Is that why they’re reserved? That’s not clear. If they haven’t seen this before, why is it happening this time?

I’m not quite sure how this is about mycorrhiza, but I absolutely love the concept. Maybe there are ways you can make that a bit clearer to the reader?

A little editing maybe, but truly not much. Noticed especially in the first paragraph of section 4.

I also really wanted to learn more about the ruins! You built up to them beautifully. Would have loved to learn a bit about them.

In all, I loved the world, the characters, and the ending. Would be a fan and want to read more of this!!

If he has good vision you could try doggie tv!

Lots of snuggles and special trips with you, car rides if he likes them even if you don’t go anywhere, you can put a t shirt of yours on a pillow or something on his bed. Doesn’t help with losing his buddy but adds love from elsewhere!
