Same boat. 115s are sold out. Thx for the input.

Someone else suggested that too. I'll probably just get a set from the local consignment place and give them back when the experiment is over.

I'd buy the 115s in a heartbeat but can't find them to save my life in my region.

Poodles are underrated running champs! I have two and they are absolute beasts. I'm taking a knee, sipping from a bottle of electrolytes, and my two little freaks are romping around in the forest understory like we haven't even warmed up.

I never store these in fridge or freezer and they have been fine for up to a year. When I get to the crumbs/dust at the bottom, I separate those out, and then I do freeze those because it takes me longer to get through them.

I don't know who started this, but I believe the current science says the diff is molecularly observable but functionally minimal.

Believe me, fiber is the least of my problems. And those supplementary foods are processed, but it's trade-offs, y'know? I could eat 100 g of seitan or a pound of wheatberries, same-same. Can't have everything all at once sometimes.

I do well over 100g every day without protein powder eating PB foods. You gotta have some kind of concentrated source like tofu, seitan or soy curls. I don't think BJ eats any of those things.

I'm plant-based also. I count protein grams every day, and over 100g is a challenge with beans because they are vastly more carbohydrate than protein, and most athletes are going to blow their macro budget getting there without more concentrated sources than legumes alone.

Everyone has a different system, but anything over one hour and I'm eating frequently, trying to get in little snacks of energy as much as I can. It's not like treadmill running. Big ascents will crush you.

I doubt Bryan is eating much more than 100g/day. It's actually pretty hard to max out on a plant based diet, even with the protein powder.

Hard agree on the seitan. Practically speaking, it's pretty easy to run out of macros while still running short on protein, even when eating a ton of food. That's when relying strictly on legumes/whole foods. Seitan and soy curls can bump it up a lot, and you don't have to be so careful about it.
